So I got my wisdom teeth out this morning.
It was the first time I'd ever had surgery, it was weird. @_@
And yes, now I bear a strong resemblance to a chipmunk.
Yee.
Teeth, surgery, chipmunks, IVs, anaesthetics.
Discuss.

Chipmunks are adorable~ I wouldn't describe you as a chipmunk, though. You're not high-strung enough. Maybe like a cat~ You can hug it and cuddle it and stuff but if you piss it off in the slightest it'll tear your face off!

I got two teeth out before I got my braces P: It was fun. I hate getting needles in my mouth, so I just convinced myself that they weren't needles. It was awesome. I still have the teeth somewhere.

I think I already have my wisdom teeth. If not, then I think I may have just enough room in my mouth for them. *Is most likely wrong about both of those statements*

Dentists have scared me since [insert tramatic experiences here]. :0 Like seriously. I think they said my jaw doesn't actually have enough room for wisdom teeth though. |D;; My parents at the same time don't wanna take 'em out 'coz they think it's just another medical fad. (Like getting tonsils taken out)

Well I don't know how much of a fad getting your tonsils out is. xp Mine just kept getting me sick until they were removed, and I was almost instantly better for it.

You've been hanging out in the GCD surprised
I used to get sick (the throwing up kind, not the generic ill kind) every time I had the slightest cold till I had my tonsils out. I know I would have probably grown out of it, but personally I reckon for me it was worth it.
Taking wisdom teeth out is actually pretty common, but has been for ages. My mum had to have hers taken out because of no room and they were impacted or something. Mine thankfully are coming thorugh fine though, hardly ever give me any hint of pain either! biggrin
Doctors and operations and stuff Im fine with, but dentists really creep me out. I think it's because I end up feeling very trapped and if they take too long hard to breathe, really needed to swallow/spit, etc. And it's disgusting. xp

My tonsils have never done anything to me. I almost never get sick.
And just how long does it take for wisdom teeth to grow?

[SomePersonYouDontKnow] My tonsils have never done anything to me. I almost never get sick.
And just how long does it take for wisdom teeth to grow? Depends. The earliest I've heard anyone getting them is 16, but that's very rare. I started getting mine at 17/18, and they're still coming through. They're the slowest teeth to come through I'm afraid. Most people get them around late teens to early 20s.

And since my family can't afford a dentist or anything like that, I couldn't get my wisdom teeth out even if I had to.
