...and I know you could consider the most recent three eps crossovers however, if the TARDIS Team somehow met up with the Torchwood Team, how would the Doctor react to Gwen? eek Would he think she looks like Gwyneth, or would he not remember? Would the audience have to accept the convention (and the insistance) that the two characters are not related? Think about it! What if Gwen from Torchwood was Gwyneth reincarnate? Has this already been brought up? Wikipedia Eve Myles, who plays Gwyneth, also stars in Doctor Who spinoff series, Torchwood as Gwen Cooper. No mention is made of a relation between the 2 characters.

Hmm... well sure, I suppose he might say something, as he didn't want Gwyneth to die even though she did....of course by that episode I'm sure she could conveniently be out doing something...but that would be dumb as she's the character that the series started off with...it would be strange I guess..

Army of Ghosts/Doomsday End of Days Utopia Sound of Drums Yeah, but remember (spoiler whited out) Saxon said that he'd sent Jack's little gang on a wild goose chase to the Himalayas, so we're not going to see them in Doctor Who.RTD has already denied that Gwen and Gwyneth are the same person.

It's impossible that Gwen and Gwenyth would be the same person, purely because they are both human, and there's no sign of a Vortex Manipulator on either of their wrists at any point

Dodgy Dawnwind It's impossible that Gwen and Gwenyth would be the same person, purely because they are both human, and there's no sign of a Vortex Manipulator on either of their wrists at any point That, and Gwyneth DIED. But they were played by the same actress, and it would be a little weird for the producers to ignore that if she guest-starred on DW as Gwen. Besides, their names are very similiar.

Naoko Mori Who plays Torchwoods Toshiko Sato has appeared in the Torchwood series and in the Doctor who series in the episode 'Aliens of London' She was the Coroner of the pig.
