As I was watching that last episode, I realized that the ending was quite different than in the manga. Oh VERY much... I was still laughing my head off but I didn't get to see Light's crazy expressions... It was there for a while but it didn't seem like the manga at all. So in conclusion I really don't want to say what happens to Mikami in the anime... it won't be funny once I say so! xD In the manga, he died of insanity in the prison cell. But in the anime... well... *click* -STAB- GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! *blood spraying everywhere*
and instead of Light dying in the warehouse...
*SCREEEEECH!* -RUN!!!!- *pant pant* *rest*
and after a long run... the ending that everyone knows...
the shinigami writes his name down.
but something shocked me!
i thought I was seeing things but... after 12 episodes since our beloved sweet-toothed detective has passed away... he appears once again~!
L has appeared!so if you did not see episode 37 then thank god I put up a bit of a "you gotta to see it first" type of thing. but if you already saw the ep then highlight below... I still think people that didn't see it would still try to see the spoilers...

and Light didn't die in the "yellow box" warehouse where everyone was. I didn't expect that Light be able to get up after being shot 4 times in the vital spots... So when Mikami commits suicide, Light took his chance and ran towards the red door and runs away. But because of his wounds he was only able to run to another warehouse. Odd thing is, that while he was running was he seeing his younger, innocent self? or was that somebody else that passed by him? o.o''' Well whoever that was, he laid on the stairs of the other warehouse and felt his heart "ba-dump" because Ryuk wrote his name on his notebook. But unlike the manga, Ryuk stood before Light as Light begs for mercy. But Ryuk was found sitting on top of a tower and he said that "being in the prison will be troublesome" so he decides to kill Light so he won't suffer anymore. So Ryuk is being a good friend here? or... Well after that Light is staring at something... yes... you guessed it! It's L! And like in the pictures... was that a hallucination? or was that really L's spirit/ghost watching Light in his final moments? hmm... Oh and if you're wondering... Misa commits suicide just like what the HTR13 but it just says "suicide" in the anime it shows that Misa is about to jump off the building as her suicide. hmm... And what happened to that KIRA Cult thing in the manga? oh well... but was this really a good ending? I thought it was okay... I like how the production of this one changed it a bit... I always hated Light ever since he killed Lind L. Taylor. Even if that guy was a criminal from the start, Light was willing to kill anyone that got in his way even if they ARE good guys. soo yea... an ending like this to make me feel sympathetic over it is really something. In the manga, I really thought he's pathetic... Wow... Just a little change in scenes could change the mood, huh?L has appeared! #2
