I can be a christian rapper...I guess it's more Topical rappin' than anything...Just stick to the same topic when you write...I wouldn't mind seeing how she does in a topical battle...thats really what I have been working on recently...

Truthfully, i believe a christian rapper DOES NOT fully utilizes there talants, to me a christian rapper is just like a gangsta rapper

The way a Gangsta rapper talks about: Guns, cars, Sex, how nice of a rapper and drugs

a Christian rapper can and should talk about: God, Love, How nice of a rapper they are, and the way God changed there lives

however christian rappers seem to always leave out "Love" and "How nice of a rapper they are", limiting them to the same 2 topics, God and how he changed their life

but thats what makes wizdom interesting,
she's a battle rapper/ christrian rapper, so atleast one of those 2 extra topics ("How nice they are") can be realized and utilzed, making her one topic more versatile than most christrian rappers and thus making her lyrically stronger than most aswell.

Once she learns how to properly use such talants ofcourse, which is what the Battle dome is for 3nodding

i strongly disagree on the can and should..no ones limited to specific topics..a secular rapper just has a broader base BECAUSE of the fact that theyre in it solely to make money and get their name out by any means nessary..a christian rapper chooses to speak on certain topics because they want the truth to be heard without caring about how much money they make, speifically to but peoples eyes on God and his works ratehr than themselves

on the side of how nice they are, thats not christian at all, thats more positive intergrated with secular because they put the focus on themselves.

the misconception that people have towards christian rappers and christian artists in general is that we're all the same in the fact we're jesus freaks and only here to spread religious beliefs while secular artists spread violence and so on (no need to list it, it goes on forever) basically nagetive things. on the flipside, there are a handful who declare them selves christian such as R. Kelly, Kanye West, Chamillionaire and Mack 10 BUT arent true to it because of the things they say in their albums...

if you got any questions about it ill answer gladly but dont assume that because we're christian that we arent up to par with the rest...personally im a convivted christian meaning i feel bad when i do things such as cussing..*checc my raps, i only cussed eight times total* im tryna switch it out for good but it aint as easy as it seems so for someone like wizdom to step out and speak on a christain level, it shows she has more heart from all of you even through terrences ridicule..but shes not alone, im a christian and ill gladly profess it..need support wit it checc out my myspace.

thats true, i like your input on that, really discourages alot of my thoughts but i still believe, even though there trying to put focus on God which is a good thing, theres nothing wrong with put a little focus on themselves, i mean gangsta rappers establish themselves as hot rappers when speaking about guns and they get there ill-hearted message across, why can't a christian rapper do they same to ultimately get the message of God across, to better send your message i believe you have to establish your own name first, i wouldnt underestimate a christian rapper, but just for that fact, alot of other rappers would.

but thats just my thoughts

FYI- I don't like to curse either, its not a christian rapper i made a promise to keep cursing to a minimum and never place "*****" in my verses, I keep that promise and i'm still nicer than most people who curse as far as I know.

to put it simply, theres no topic we cant speak on such as guns, girls, money, violence (and so on) but there are extreme limitations to whats acceptable. if one speaks about it in a way that secular artist do then the wrong message is served. say someone says "Ill kill you in the name of God." Thats extremely wrong in it self because the 10 commandments *i.e., thou shall not murder*, and for the fact it goes against what the bible states in all religions and christ-like relationship expense. im not certain where it states that anything done in contradiction to gods law is wrong in itself but i know its there, ill look it up when i get the chance..kinda busy lately. now bacc to the subject

the message of God in itself is to be apart from worldly views and secular idols in order to show the trueness of God, base point... On the topic of putting spotlight on someone to show the likeness of God, im not entirely sure if its ok to do so seeing as how people get caught up in things that'll eventually bring you down hard...specifically, money and fame. its obvious to get a name out for people to hear you but as a christian rapper, it shouldnt matter whether the masses know who you are or not as long as the right message is served. If i named some artists, i bet youd never heard of em mainly due to the mainstream rejection apart from a few who have switched over

in summary, it depends on how you speak of it but also if youre reflecting it in the way of God aside from negativity which brings blasphemy to His name...i could continue speaking on this for days but i rather write about it

get at me if u need any clarification....besides, i dont think i explained some things clear enuff....
