This thread is about the anime KashiMashi Girl Meets Girl. Quote: Hazumu confessed his love to Yasuna, but she turned down him. To ease his heartbreak, he went to Mt. Kashimayama where he had met her first. He lost his way in the mountain, and it was night time. He saw a big shooting star, and when he began to wish, he found something was wrong. It was not a shooting star, but it was a falling space ship. He was involved in the crash. He managed to survive by the help of the alien. However, he became a girl due to the accident during the reconstruction of his body.

I have to say i really onjoyed this anime, but the ending did leave me a little dissapointed. i felt it was left just to open, but then thats just me sweatdrop

Did you see the OVA? & yes its left open for a reason. It was a huge media hit. They may make more series.

i think it was the OVA i saw, and yea if they do make more series then i wont complain ever about the openess of the end...to be honest i dont know why i didnt think that may be a reason for it in the first place ^^;;

It was such a media craze in Japan. That they'll most likely make another series in the next year or two.

Oh. They made an OAV? o.o I have the manga 1 and 2 are they coming out with more? Its such a cute series. I love Hazumu. ^_^

Kashimashi is such a cute story. I've watched the anime and do hope they continue into another season. oh ya, thx for the invite olorin90. anyway, its kind of rare to find a nice shoujo-ai anime like Kashimashi. Strawberry Panic comes to mind......thou i think that comment was off topic. I like Ranma 1/2 (seen season 1 through 5) and trying to finish I, My, me: Strawberry Eggs. i don't really know many trans-gender or cross-dressing anime. i like shoujo-ai, thou its rare. Oh my current obsession is Reinforce from Nanoha (my profile has some pics and a movie, im gonna add a summary and char. profiles) Reinforce is sooooo freakin' cute blaugh whee xd

I really shouldn't like this series, but it was just so... sweet and cute that I couldn't help it.
Has anyone read the manga that it was sorta based on? It's supposed to be quite a bit different (for one thing they actually explain why they made Hazumu into a girl...)

I started reading the Manga when it was on Anime-source.com, but I never got to finish it before it was taken off.
The reason they made him into a girl was because of something that the Alien use to mesure life. Hazumu was supposed to die on the cliff, but the Aliens didn't know that so in order to save his life they had to change it. That only bought Hazumu a short amont of time before she starts dieing again.

I really liked the series. I thought it was cute. When I get the chance, I'm going to get the anime and the manga.
I Also heard that after book 2 I think it was, was when it is completely different from the anime. Either that or some chapter in book 2.
I was really confused though with the ending of the series when they ending it with both yasuna and Hazumu saying "you know...." Lol When I saw that I was like WTF. Then I saw the 13th episode and I was happy. lol.
lol, I think that Hazumu is really cute as a girl. 3nodding
