I have hair.
It is long hair.
It is fun as hell to headbang with, and looks awesome brushed out, slept on, done into braids, and held back with headbands. And it even fits under my gas mask! biggrin
It's also a curly, wavy, frizzy, fuzzy mass atop my head that tangles within minutes of brushing.
However.
There are almost no recipes or potions brewed to take care of this blondeness. Damn all you straight-haired people with no need for them! mad heart
So I've made my own.
-1 part Herbal Essences "totally twisted" Conditioner. -1 part Suave "toasted vanilla and sugar" Conditioner.
Mix thoroughly; they like to settle out.
Shampoo once every three or four showers, using Suave coconut shampoo.
Go scrunch with mousse.
While doing this routine last night, I wondered how everyone else has adapted to todays prodcuts.
So, tell me your routines, your practices, the way you want your hair to look, etc. Hell post pictures if you want.
My hair idol: Steve Harris, circa 1982.

I wash and condition my hair every other day. Cause if I do it everyday, it gets too dry, and longer than every other day, it gets too greasy. I let it air-dry, then I turn my straightener on and let it sit for half an hour. Then I straighten my hair, since it's very wavy and curly. And I have to take my time straightening it, or else it turns out horribly. mad And that's about it. I don't usually brush it unless I'm planning on straightening it again because it fluffs it out and s**t. D=

I used to deep condition my hair with the conditioner you get out of hair dye boxes. sweatdrop It works, and now the frizz is gone.

I wash my hair with any inexpensive moisturizing shampoo ('cause otherwise my hair gets frizzy and static-y; plus I dye it a lot, so it also gets pretty brittle) every two or three days. The natural oils are good for my hair, so I let them do their work. I don't use conditioner, mostly because I'm too cheap to spend the extra bucks on it. xd

I haven't found anything that works for me yet. I have long, straight hair, and I really want to volumize it as much as I can without cutting it. I've tried stuff from drugstores to stuff from the salon Nothing really works. (shampoo & conditioner wise. Maybe I should use mousse or something?) ...I've tried way too hard with this....
Any suggestions? xD

Mothie, I have really thin hair, so for the longest time I strictly used volumizing shampoos. I found that Pantene Pro-V worked the best, but that the conditioner weighed down my hair. Match the shampoo up with a volumizing mousse if the shampoo alone isn't enough, and hopefully that'll do the trick. smile

Mmmm, I have African-American type of hair Where its coarse... But when iwas like 9 I got it relaxed, so it's flatt...er... Yea... But I SERIOUSLY don't know how to take care of it And there's not many African-American influences in Hawaii (Shops, Salons, PEOPLE) So I just wash my hair with Motions-- lol walmart It's the only product made for black hair that I've found so far Then I blow dry it-- oil sheen, and hair lotion used x_x; But lately I've been getting dandruff, so I use H&S before Motions

I don't dye my hair especially because it's so dry and would just kill my hair. Swim team ughh... I use some LoReal for kids shampoo for swimmers and regular moisturizing conditioner that smells like strawberry champagne, yummy!

I don't do much to my hair...it's short and straight...well sorta... The tips curl out in the back and in, in the front if you know what I mean so I have to straighten it every day. It's dyed dark brown (nearly black) and blonde right now.
If you want straight hair, it's really exoensive but, you could get a straight perm. You might still need to straighten it everyday like me though. lol.

I use shampoo && conditioner. I don't know what kinds. xDD I always let it air dry, unless I'm in a hurry. I also never brush my hair, I only comb it. I have to shower every day or else it gets oily and icky. =[ My older sister has the curliest of hair. Every lock was literally a curl. She looked like she had an afro or something. I have really straight hair. Go figure... =/ My hair is also very fine. Everyone else's is thick. And I'm the only blonde in the family now. My older siter && mom used to be blonde. Their hair color just... changed. O.o™ ღ

*sigh* I want straight hair. I hate my hair for being curly/wavy. It's not bad, but if I sleep on it wrong, then when I wake up, it won't go down, it just poofs out. Most of the time, I have to drench it in water. (I have shortish hair, on my shoulders) Anyone have any ideas on how to get my hair straight? And I use any shampoo, but usually Aussie or straightning things.

I have a balanced sort of hairstyle. Its wavy, yet striaght at the same time. Its hard to describe, but my hair grows quite fast and right now, its in the mid shoulders- back range.
Yeppers. I wash my hair every other day and let it air dry.
Personally, I ♥ Herbal Essences and pantene; I go all out for those shampoo and conditioner combined products. biggrin I'm planning to just get a straightener perm, but I hear its pretty expensive. My hair's been pretty thin ever since I've dyed it. But oh well. Anything for a nice look, hm?

I have straight hair. :D Lucky me! I have side parted bangs with hot pink streaks. It's about two inches past my shoulders.
I want a new cut, though. I'm tired of this one. I want short bangs that reach below my eyebrows. I want the sides to be choppy and frame my face. Make the pink back to brown, or some other wacky color.
(:
I shower every night. Teens should shower every night, at least. All the germs we're exposed to daily.
I use Garnier Fructis. <3 I'm not sure of which type I use from that.. But sometimes I use Pantene Pro-V. I always use Smooth & Sleek from Pantene.
Yes. ^-^

My hair a quasi-poofy poodle-esque mess that doesn't like to be tamed.
Well. That was before I got it cut 5 hours ago! 8D Now for some reason it lies straight and flat, but anyway! I have naturally oily hair and I HAVE to wash it every day. I use conditioner, but I don't let it get on my scalp, just the rest of my hair. I have to condition since I straighten it all the time and use lots of hairspray.
Otherwise I use just some clarifying shampoo from suave and herbal essences conditioner for oily hair.
