Hiya
So I'm writing a story based on Ancient Egypt and because this part of it is based on a settlement next to the Nile.
Does anybody know what time of the year the Nile floods? And mayne a calendar on the state of the Nile?

I know that in one of my parents' National Geographics they had a super-mega-amazing spread on Nile flood rates from the Old Kingdom to the Greco-Roman Period. It was really interesting because you could tell how the economy suffered if there was too little or too much floodwater going through the fields.
*goes into library, looks at the wall of NGs dating back to 1964* surprised ... Um...it may take a while for me to find it and get it scanned in...
