Kikkoman Soy sauce if we're out ^^ I also find it hard to survive without Cup Ramen, fresh veggies, toast and cream cheese.

If any of my herbs are out, I must get them. I also throw out eggs that degrade to a B, and I go through milk/dairy products quickly so cream and cheese is always there. Fresh fruits and vegetables are typically mandatory, and I usually always pick up some sort of fresh meat too. 3nodding

I love starter ingredients like chicken/vegetable stock, tomato paste or crushed tomatoes, and yes, pastas. And I always have to have good cookin' cheese around -- mozzarella, parmesan. And of course there are the perennial meat favourites -- chicken cuts and ground beef -- that I keep in my freezer.
Everything else gets bought on a whim or a special trip smile

I think it really depends on your dietary needs combined with your likes and dislikes.

Olives definitely, and cheese. In my house we're huge fans of antipasto platter snacks. A little of this, and a little of that, quite yum.
Also, I've taken to ciabatta bread rolls, those are must have.

I best enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from the farmers' market; organic vanilla yogurt; dried fruits; granola; Barilla pasta; tomato paste; dried herbs; skinless, organic, free-range chicken breasts; loaf of bread; ramen; furikake; bullion...
There's other things, but I can't think tight now, the idiots I'm sitting near can't seem to shut the hell up.

My number one is fresh fruits and veggies. Then it's milk and eggs, breads and pastas, as well as rice, beans, and tomato sauce. And coffee, as well.
