I've been listening to most of Cosmic Genesis lately and I do enjoy it lots. I like that and the song Till Fjalls. So discuss.
The guy kinda reminds me of one of my friends, which I think is funny.

I thought I heard they were Viking. But I haven't listened to them yet, so I don't really know.

Yeah...but I think of them as more blacken folk than viking.....that's me.

He started out as pretty folk, and just experiments all over the place since Cosmic Genesis. I've seen him classified as "folk/viking" so I guess he could be in other category.

I just bought Solens Rotter, and i have to say that i am very dissapointed. It was the very first time i have heard any of this material and I am left wondering what is all the hype? I was expecting something kinda heavy and leaning more towards Blackend folk metal and that's not what i got.
I'm not saying it's terrible but i was really thinking that it was going to be a fantastic album afer all the sticker on the cd said Nordic Folk Metal comeback of the year on it. neutral

Rotter didn't sound prog, it just sounded something my my mother would listen to. But yes i do need to get that album the lyrics are beautiful.

I think Rotter's alright. Granted it's a bit...watered down? I guess you could say, but meh, guess depends on what mood your in.

he started viking/folk, but he's getting more progressive by the album. I still like the songs, but liked them better at the beggining.-
