So I'm curious, does anybody here know anything about soul magick? This can include(but not limited too): Creating Souls Destroying Souls(destroying the sense of "self" and dispersing the energy) Changing the soul in some way Incarnating a soul into a body Removing a soul from a body ect ect ect Also, don't be an a**, this is a post for discussion on what you know about soul magick, not whether you believe in it or not. iolitefire Hey blkcat, I think you need to put that one disclaimer in the first post in big bold letters. It seems that some people would rather chastise you for wanting to learn about soul magick instead of discussing it. Jeez people, come on now. Blkcat is a big boy. What he wants to learn is his business and no one has any right to tell him what he can and not learn about. If he wants to practice it, then big deal. Its none of your business. You aren't his parents (or his gods) for Durga's sake!

Yes, I do know SOME. Some of what is not on their. I can't discuss it here, PM me IF YOU WISH. How high the magick is isn't really my concern at all, I've attempted worse. Not servitors or anything of the like, I mean an actual, full, living soul. By change I mean modify the type of a soul, to complete change it's framework.

I think, you may be able to make constructs, but you can only go so far before you should stop, you can only go so far before you get shut down. If you're even lucky enough to be let that far. i just don't think you should be messing with creation on too high of a level until you know what you're doing more.

If you're even lucky enough to be let that far. i just don't think you should be messing with creation on too high of a level until you know what you're doing more. The post wasn't about how far I should go, or how far I can go, it's a discussion on what the members of the guild know about it.

Yeah. Its pretty impossible to create a soul and have the will to put it in a body. You can destroy them, by all means, any soul, but you can't create one. The farthest humans to go is creation of servitors. Leave the souls for god, cause if you try it, you may die of energy bust or exhastion. God is the only one who can create souls and put them in bodies, or whatever "higher" power you belive in. Like I said, theirs the soul jar but thats more of a servitor entitie soul. Souls are eternal, that of which you can't create. We, as mortals, don't even know the creation or how god came up with such a wild dream, so by that, we can't do so. I'd say astral project, find a spirit, and ask him that. Once you get into the astral, just guide yourself to a spirit, an elder who knows this s**t better than we do. You're dreaming of the impossible, and thats not a'kin to the human morals. I don't think you understand the consequence of the damage this can do.

In all technicality even if I WERE to attempt to create a soul (which this post once again is not about what I can do or want to do, it's a guild discussion) it still wouldn't be overstepping my grounds beyond the fact that "creation" and "life" are not in my nature. That's what I meant. I never believed it was creating a soul, and I knew it involved the soul, I just didn't know how.

Reminds me of an idea that I had once...
Not destroying, but creating through fission.
Divide ones own soul (and become immortal Harry Potter(Voldemort) style!), and then nurture both portions back to health. From their, find something for the "new" soul to reside in.
You would then have a "new" soul, and a potential life-long buddy!

People come into this thread and want to preach their belief systems, it's a simple issue of: "If you know anything about it, post, if you don't, don't post. Or if you don't and want to know, post your interest." XD
