Welcome to Angelic Songs! I’m proud to announce (after months of hard gold getting) that Angelic Songs has been officially opened! I’m sure everyone has read the rules but just to be clear, I’m posting them here.
Quote:
1. Have fun.
2. d0n”+ +aIk Lke +hi$ (translation = Don’t talk like this)
One simple reason, no one can understand what you say. If you talk like this AT ALL, be sure to be kicked out not able to join at all. This is a literate roleplaying guild. No chat speak. If you wish to roleplay in that manner, go to the forums. Not here.
3. Post at least 5 well developed sentences.
Well developed, does anyone know what that means? –glances around- Well, I’ll explain. It doesn’t mean stick 5 sentences up into your post to make it be able to skim through our watchful eyes. No, it means you put effort into what you write and make sure that its not simple sentences. Nothing like,
Amy walked down the street. She said hello to a man. She turned around a corner into an alley. She saw a gang and ran out. She managed to get away.
That is five sentences, but not well-developed ones. Putting things like this is NOT APPECIATED! It never makes a good story anyways. Also remember. Five sentences is your minimum. Post more if you wish. If you slack off from time to time, you won’t get into trouble. Although if it repeats, be sure to expect a pm from us.
4. Post in Novel format.
Novel format… if anyone had ever read a chapter book (or Harry Potter) you’ve seen how a novel looks. That is how EVERYONE should write here. Not in first person with symbols to depict actions, no. You post in third person, novel format. Writing out your actions.
5. 3 posts per week
This guild should be active. An active guild is a good guild, correct? You have people to roleplay with and you don’t have to wait very long to continue a good roleplay. Three posts per week should be rather easy, although life does get in the way from time to time. There will be a thread to post when you’ll be gone and most likely not be able to post. Inactive members will be sent a pm asking if they are still interested in staying in the guild. Of course this will only happen twice. After that, you’ll be given no warning. So stay active, mkay?
6. OOC Chatting
OOC, out-of-character, a rather simple way of saying that you’re not roleplaying at the moment. There are a variety of ways to show that you’re out-of-character, such as brackets, actually putting ooc, or using a symbol at the start and the end. In roleplays, you should be roleplaying, NOT chatting. Unless it is a short thing or the creator of the roleplay has not placed a thread where you can ask questions of the roleplay, you can use it in the roleplay. Although it would also be good if you sent them a pm. Roleplays shouldn’t be clogged up with ooc chats. It should be filled to the brim with the story and slightly ooc chatting. Mkay?
7. Bumping
Some of you might have never been accepted into a literate guild before (Or a guild for that matter). Bumping should not be used here. The roleplay won’t be pushed back to the second page for a while, so everyone will see it. Bumping is also somewhat OOC-like. So DON’T bump.
