Mine is a Sam Ash. It is in Cinncinati Ohio. It is about an hour away from my home. I love going there and looking around for good deals. I also find some cool stuff there. I found a cool trash cymbal for a low price. It isn't an ordinary trash though. It looks like this. http://www.zildjian.com/images/products/detailImage_2280.JPGI would love to have one of those! Another thing I love about the store is that if you see it, you can play it. And they don't give a crap how loud you play either. 4laugh They have awsome used eqiupment and a great selection of music books. What about yours?

My local music store is called lees house of music. But if you ment stores that are franchises guitar center and house of blues .Iv'e gotten so many things from these store iv'e probbaly spent 1k on my drums so far.

I can't really remember the name of the place, but it has some awesome stuff. I got my used Zildjan ride there for $150! Strangely enough, though, the guy there sells coffee as well...... stare

It's funny how little I use the local shops...
They are always little businesses that try to rip you off in anyway they can.
I order from big hardware companies when I want hardware for a drum, and ebay anytime I need little things like clamps.

My music shop = A really horrific shop
Horribly overpriced cymbals, drum-kits, and cymbals, and so on.
I buy second-hand from other people.

The closest store to me is Daddy's Junky Music which has a pretty bad selection for drums. About 1/7 of the store is drumming gear and the other 6/7 is guitars and basses. Guitar Center is a little further away, but much better.

Personally, I've got two music store : " Le Drum-shop" et "La Baguetterie" especially for sticks. biggrin

mine is poc's music store. He sells me what i guess i'd call generic brand sticks at a dollar a pair.

There are a few around me, but I like Music Go Round. They sell lots of used stuff pretty cheap. It's really big, too, and they sell pretty much every insturment. The only problem is that it's so packed full of stuff that it's really hard to move around in... and you have to look through the bucket of drum sticks forever to find two that match...

my local music store is call gama music is just in monterrey XD and i buy my 14 hit hat 16 crash and 20 ride for like 300 dl i think it was cheap

Top Ten Music Store, where I take drum and guitar lessons, George's Music, Springfield Music and we have a Sam Ash Music about 45 minutes away. We have a pretty good selection over all. smile
|
