The voices do suck. Does anyone know if those anime episode downloads on Viz are in English or Japanese?
Japanese with English subtitles... That's what it says...

DAMN YOU IS RIGHT! God, his voice SUCKS. Why does this ALWAYS happen!? Anyone heard Gravitation's voice actors in english? HORRIBLE. Just like Death Note.
Death Note is one of those animes that is completely serious and flows. It's tense and addicting. If you are going to properly get across the feelings, you have to have the right sounds, music, color-scheme, art style, and voices.
Sounds? Check.
Music? Check plus.
Color-scheme? Perfect, check.
Art style? Check.
Voices: Japanese, check. English... wait... wa~ait... Nope. Not workin.
They're going to ruin the experience of Death Note. I can already tell. The voice doesn't flow, and Yagami Raito's voice is THE MOST IMPORTANT VOICE because it's his story that we follow. Fans are just going to have to suck it up and either choose, however, between the US SELLERS or the English Dub.
Me personally? English dub which will get listened to ONCE in English just so I can hear it.
Yay fans of Death Note who were hoping for translation. Not so much good for fans like me who are proud of the original Japanese version.
Edit: Who DARED to say 'yes' to english Death Note!?!!
