Koi has been talking about making a mod discussion group and I think that would be a good idea so that we can keep updates. So therefore, I am locking this thread to make it accessable for mods only. This is not some kind of weird "power trip" but I just want to make sure that this thread is used to communicate who is being let into the group or update on offensive material in the thread/suggestions for rules, etc so that our mods don't just feel disconnected.
So, if you're a mod, please feel free to post here with information to keep the rest of the mods in the know.
Thanks!
Oni heart

Yeah, we're not gonna be power triping anytime soon, I'm gonna make sure of that, we just need a quiet place to discuss things like bans and contests and such. Lord knows that there are enough power hungry assholes in the world today, and this guild don' need another. Also, I've been meaning to put this up, but i currently have other...more pressing RL issues as of late, so i apologize for not doing so earlier. At any rate, mods, if you have any beef or want to discuss a new idea or direction for th IPG, post here.

Speaking of which, mods, our current waiting list has grown to 6 people. While that's not too bad, i don't want it to grow to be like this (courtesy of the Let's Speak Japanese guild) I think prospective members should be allowed one post on a topic that best showcases the capabilities of the IPG *which they PM to me, the mule, or a mod* which we look at and evaluate, and see if they should be accepted. What do the rest of you think?

In other words a "Test" post?
I think it is an interesting idea. Gives us a chance to see how they act and post. I would also suggest a breif browse through some of their posts as well, just to see you know?

Yup, so it shall be. A look at their history, then if we like them, a test post.

*Nods* Anybody can look good for an interview, but it is the long term that counts.

I agree that we should have them send us a link to a post that showcases their intellectual perverted ness, as well as a brief bio (nothing huge, maybe just five sentences or something). I also have a beef with people having terrible spelling, so anyone with over-the-top obnoxious net speak should not be considered, in my opinion (ie: "Lyk, lol, omg, u r so kewl").
In fact, I would have to say we should put into place the same kind of system as Quantact's Deep Thought guild for intellectual discussion. Maybe we should talk with him about it?

Also, Mods, I've recently noticed something.... almost no ones saying yay or nay These ideas only work when someone ELSE besides me does something, please mods, we don't need to put the fear of god into these people. I'm really starting to think we need to loosen up, at least in the outset. We're only barely getting our guild legs, for petes sake, we need all the new blood we can get right now. Don't you remember the old days when the guild was monitered by Vice and Oni and Mmm-mmm-good and the guild flourished? Thats when we need to crack down. For now, lets just loosen up and let 'em come as the come. We can ban them anyways, right? Or if not, at least post in the Yay or Nay thread. I'm getting a little peeved that so far, it's only been me, Shoruken, and DarthXEndor that have posted frequently... exclaim ! exclaim Why don't we send the test post to each other? That way we can look at them individually and say Yay or nay? It's probably be a lot quicker than having to come here and say it. I'm gonna try that, because the current way of doing it is going a bit too slow for my liking...

Sounds good to me. 3nodding
And yeah, that's what I do with my guild too. If I don't like something a member does, they get a warning, and if it happens again they get banned. cool

Mods, I've been thinking, maybe we should have an affiliates thread, you know, a place where we put links to all the other guilds we visit and occupy. What do you say?

Koiyuki Mods, I've been thinking, maybe we should have an affiliates thread, you know, a place where we put links to all the other guilds we visit and occupy. What do you say? I am asking Nikolita to help make a thread (we can sticky it) that encompasses both her guild link and basic sex information. I think that it's good to be a pervert, but we should also be able to get the information in order to be *safe* in our pervertedness! So, yeah, I asked Nikolita, and she's pretty happy to oblige. Are there other guilds that you want to link?

Our list of new recruits is growing again. I was thinking maybe we should rethink our approach to sorting out new members. Maybe each mod could take a couple possible new members and interview and test them out. That way we don't need everyone to answer a yay or nay.
