So it's a question I was wondering just now. Everyone goes to school and sometimes to college as well. When you're in college, you major in SOMETHING. Let's pretend all of your troubles and difficulties in life now are gone. You have a clean slate to where you want to go in life and nothings going to stop you. What would your dream career be?
I have two. The first is art. I may not feel so passionate about art as I was once before, but I want to go for it because I feel like it's too late to change now (even though I'm soon going to become a Senior). I think it's somewhat enjoyable and there's no math involved (I'm horrible at math. I know some types of art takes math like architecture, but I'd feel weird making buildings. My uncle is one, and I saw his blue prints for a complex once. My head spun. @_@). Being an artist can also put pressure on anyone, but it comes with the job.
The second, if my art career fails, is Egyptology. I feel more pationate about this than art, and I stamped it as my back up plan when I think I was in Jr. high. Working around Egypty things makes me giggle and jump for joy. Ancient stuffs is luff.
So, what is your dream career? X) Or do you already doing your dream career? o: Dun Dun Dun!!!
...My third back up is to work at Disneyland in Anaheim. xD

I would love to be an Egyptologist. When you have a passion in that subject it should be a snap to learn (but he hieroglyphs may take a while unless you know the basics of 1 and 2 constant signs and determinatives).
My second, and most likely to complete, dream is to an author. I love to write and I am currently writing a story based in ancient Egypt. I'm using the name Tuthmosis III (Thutmose) but I am not basing it on his life. Once I've finished my first year at college I'll have to sit down and carry on with ut ^_^

My first is to be an archaeologist, specializing in either Egyptology or Hittitology (that one's out of left field, eh? >_>) It's been a dream of mine ever since the third grade to go somewhere and dig up pieces of terracotta and/or dead stuff.
My second is to be a veterinarian. I love helping out animals in trouble, and they seem to like me lavishing them with care and attention. Except Chihuahuas; every Chihuahua I've worked with has been an absolute psycho. sweatdrop I've been considering, if not a veterinary career, then some sort of involvement with the AKC, since working with dogs seems to be a special talent.
My third is a fashion designer. I'm influenced a lot by my favorite sci-fi/fantasy series for clothes to wear. For senior prom, I'm going to design dresses for my friends and myself. 3nodding But as an actual career, I think people like my friends and I would be the only ones who would wear some of the stuff I design. sweatdrop

My dream career would have to be an interpreter. I will be majoring in Romance Languages when I go to college. There is just something about foreign languages that I have loved since I was little.
Past dream careers have included vet, president, opera singer, architect, author (still iffy on that one), and sofa spud.

I'd love to get into doing henna for people once in a while. It's really relaxing for me but there's only so much skin on my own body haha. I've also toyed with the idea of making my own porcelain dolls and hitting up flea markets once in a while. But as far as an actual fulltime job, it doesnt interest me at all.

I'm going to college for photography, so it is my goal to eventually open my own studio. I've thought about the whole dream of trying to become a famous fashion photographer, but I don't think that's quite me. Living in a simple town, with my own studio, sounds good to me.

If they fall through, I wanna do web design or be a Museum curator. :] When I settle right down to have a family & all the rest, I'll probably do something like University Lecturing. I wanna work until I kick the bucket, so yeah. xP

My dream career is working with wildlife. Weather it's tracking and collaring or rescue and rehab, I love wildlife. In particular, I have a strong love for wolves, pandas, lions, jackals...pretty much most animals (I don't do well with snakes, spiders or reptiles though).
I'm currently about to start school for a degree in Veterinary Technology, which should help me on the road to that life goal.

I'd love more than anything to be an Egyptology, but if all else fails i'd still go for Any kind of Archaeology.
I'd love to be a Historian, but modern history doesn't interest me as much as the ancient.
Another passion of mine is writing, I'd love to write a novel one day, especially in the Ancient Egypt theme, it'd make my life to write a book that compares to River God by Wilbur Smith! It's amazing, READ IT! xd

I'd love to be an author. Preferably ending up along the lines of Stephen King fame. xd Hey, why not shoot for the stars? blaugh I'm already currently working on a novel set in ancient egypt, but it's still in the research and development stage.
I'm a history major, studying ancient cultures. Unfortuneately, my uni doesn't have any Egyptology degrees, certificates, etc, so I'm focusing on Song Dynasty China, and my thesis will probably be the origins and causes of foot binding.
I'm also majoring in business, and I freaking hate it. The classes are boring and dry and....I just HATE them. I'm acutally in class right now. xd and totally NOT paying attention.

i want to be an author most definetly. but if that fails [hopefully it doesn't] i will be a historain. i love history almost as much as i love to write. so that's the plan biggrin

Dance Choreographer. I actually went to college for it, but couldn't complete the degree for stupid reasons.
ADD: Also I'd be an astronomer. The only thing that stopped me was I can't do math unless it's math theory.
