I just got my first deck of tarot cards yesterday. I spent the day with them to put my energy into it and set that bond with them. I did a reading for one of my friends at school, kind of like a practice run ya know? And 3 different people came up and touched them. Every time it felt like someone stabbed me in the back when they were touched by someone other than me. Now when i touch them i feel like something bad is about to happen, like i get those horrible chills up my spine and i drop them. I dont voluntarily drop them, it just kind of happens. I knew someone else messing with them would mess up the bond, but I didnt think it would be THAT bad. Would any of you have any advice as to what I can do to get that bond and that peaceful feeling back? I miss it and I feel really bad about it. crying stressed mad cry confused emo emo emo
Edit: Ok well i just got finished with a small ritual and i passed them through the smoke of burning incense with the image of everything evil comming out of the cards one by one as i passed them through. I still feel kinda fuzzy about it.. emo Maybe that wasnt enough?

You are just paranoid about it, it doesn't happen to me when someone touch it.
But I would suggest is wrap it around a black cloth and/or put some quartz crystal on top of it.

I dont think its a paranoid thing. I've read about it but nothing ever said a way to fix the bond that the person interfered with. Maybe you're bond is different than mine?

There was one ritual I found to be a bit helpful: Clean your hands then rub them with salt, suffle your deck and meditate.
mm, just a thought.

drain the energy into a crystal and purify he crystal both before and after. or you could try drawing the energy into the carnal and more ageless lemntal energies. and store them into crystals. i suggest this ebcause everthing is elemental-everythign and its a good idea. do this card b card. or for quicker and more shoddy results. deck at once. but i suggest you cleanse the space after each drain jsut to be sure you dont miss anything.

You must also be a powerful psychic! I'm like that with ghosts. My whole family is like that with ghosts. (My dad's side, not my mom's. But my step-mom is the same.)

The reason it affects you so much may be due to the fact that YOU are very receptive. Thus, ANY energy on your cards would affect you; basically, you left yourself open to it.
One thing that you can do to help prevent other people's energy from sticking (Tarot Teflon!) is to blood them. That is, a small bit of your blood somewhere on each card (the edges are best, as it will sink in easier). This will further solidify the fact that these are YOUR cards, and will help shield them.
Even if you do blood them, it still sounds like a good idea to cleanse your cards frequently. You may have to use a couple methods each time.
After all this, though, the smartest thing you can do is politely ask that people NOT touch your cards. If they get whiny about it, be a bit more forceful. After all, they ARE yours, and you have every right to dictate who can and cannot handle them.

Okay, just a couple of things. Well, maybe more than a couple:
1. Don't let others touch your deck unless you are doing a reading or like their aura. It's considered very rude to touch another person's deck, especially without permission, because of of this exact problem, and I've heard of decks getting ruined by it.
2. Between readings for other people, make sure your deck is well shuffled. Also, blow on the cards as you shuffle. This method is also used to quick-cleanse crystals.
3. I know this is basic, but remember to store your cards in the proper container. Most prefer velvet or silk, then a wood box, but I think the best kind of sheild is one you make yourself, thus all of my tarot cards are kept in hand-knit bags of varying materials, so my energy gets into every stitch and fiber. Find what works for you.
4. If 3 isn't an option, keep your cards under your pillow or on your alter. Just make sure they stay covered with something.
5. If the rituals don't help, pack your deck in salt and bury it in your yard from one full moon to the next.
6. It could also be that you aren't using your deck for the purpose it was intended. I do most of my practice readings on myself, just because I'm handy and people open to tarot are hard to find in Hicksville, Ohio. I had two decks that I just couldn't use, until I figured out they were "public" decks--they work better on other people, rather than myself. I also have one deck that works best on me, and doesn't like it if I use it on other people, and two that could go either way. Listen to your deck. If it bothers you to let others touch your deck, then you probably shouldn't use it to do readings for others. If you can't avoid it, instead of having the person cut the deck, you might spread the deck out before them and ask them to choose cards, so that they have less physical contact with the deck.

It seems like there is already enough good advice here for you, and explaining why. But yes, it is because you are very receptive, this happens to me when someone just touches me at all. Or maybe its the over bearing intimacy at being touched by someone...
