I was thinking of making a spell to help strengthen the veil last night right after meditation, and I heard this really abnormal voice that said "Don't help". It didn't freak me out or anything at all, it just sounded sincere. I decided to trust it, and its weird because now it seems that my psychic abilities have been amplified.

The only veil I know of is fictional, and represents the seperation of magical society and the sleepers (non-magical folk).
Explain what the veil is to me, please?

Strengthening the veil would do nothing more than piss me off a little. XD. If it does exist, I've already put plans into motion on how to tear it down.

Because there is no set definition for 'the Veil' in the metaphysical communities, it leads to a lot of confusion and occasionally bad things happening.
The "Veil" I know of is a barrier between here and 'elsewhere', which when breached releases a distinctive type of 'oily', clingy, mutagenic energy, and lots of very alien-natured spirit entities made of the same stuff. You don't want to breach this Veil--the entities can be dangerous, the energy is nasty, and just ick.
There are also 'veils' which are barriers between...hmm...'planar realities'. These just act as natural seperators, so everything isn't all in 'the same place at the same time'...(It is, but isn't).
You wouldn't want to break those either, things would get messy and crowded. It's not as if they're hard to pass through.

Oh, I see. It's the Abyss. At least that's what I know it as. The dark space between our world and the realms of the others.
As for its destruction? I'm always weary of endtime theories.

The Abyss sounds cool. As for endtime theories, I'm bored with most of them, aka Rapture syndrome, the hope that God/angels/Buddha is going to swoop down, and whisk away all the problems in the world, bring heaven, and basically fix everything.
As for trying to bring it about, though? That's ******** awesome.

umm are we POSITIVE this veil exist because i had a dream bout this but belived it to be symbolic showing how I have been awakend

Hmm...dunno about it falling, but I do know that it is naturally weak in some areas. Particularly areas of untouched wilderness. There are these tiny tears that give off some mega-vibes. So mega are those energies, that even I can feel them! And I suck at detection!

I still think people need to agree on what the Veil is before they go around crying that it's falling.
I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary happening today, for the record.
