I'm shocked that no one in this guild hasn't started a topic involving El Manana's Meaning. And if someone has, and I missed it, sry, tell me so I can go shoot myself in the corner of a circular room. emo
Anyways, in case you're a dolt, I was wandering what people thought El Manana was about. So, tell me what you think.
Things to remember:
El Manana means 'the morning' or 'the tomorrow' in Spanish
Properly, it should be La Manana, maybe that means something...
Whadya think?

I guess you mean the meaning of the song itself, and not the vid, right?
I think it's more of a break-up song. Or a song of mourning.
Or it has no meaning at all.

I think it's a song about leaving...tomorrow, and the singer wants the person to stay, and will go after him/her... Iunno, maybe I'm over-analyzing, but it could explain El Manana....

The title means "the tomorrow", but the "Mañana" suggests that it is feminine in nature or sumfink like that.
I think the song is about morning the loss of something, knowing that you were wrong and wanting forgiveness without expecting it, trying to get it all back together, and realizing that all the things you thought mattered really don't at all.
EDIT: The spanish translator says that "El Mañana" means "The Morning."

Ok. you know the music video feel good inc has the windmill in it right? I watched an interview of that song on you tube and they said that the windmill was a symbol of freedom.If you want to watch the interview here's the link: Feel Good Inc interview then in the el manana music video the same windmill is being destroyed by helicopters from the feel good inc video. with that being said I think el manana the song is about THE MAN (the helicopters ) trying to take our freedom (windmill) away.heres the link for it's music video. El Manana any responses to that theory please let me know!!! that would be greatly appreciated... unless your only talking about the title of the song in that case I agree with all of you

And if you listen I think its a Love-ish song if it has a meaning to begin with, like watching someone you like, but you dont know how they feel about you, or just dont like you that way quote "Maybe in time, youll want to be mine"??? thats just what me thinks
