Well, I liked the movie. I HATED the fact that they chnaged the order of the books... it's more like a fanfiction than a movie of the series.
But I liked the artwork, and I thought as a movie it was pretty good. And I like Jim Carrey.
The siblings were cool-looking even though violet was a different race than the others xd
What's your opinion?

yeah well actually I didn't like the movie that much it was quite differrent and I didn't like that...

I went to the cinema with an open opinion of what i was going to see, i came out very annoyed.
commencommI think the books are fantastic and i didnt think the movie did them justice. they changed things and cut lots out. All the actors were brilliant. the orphans were casted very well but thats all i can commend it on.

Well, I quite like the film, but I think I actually preferred the stylised feel of it to the way they messed up the book order and stuff...

What did you guys think of the acting? I thought that all the actors were good (although Peter Pettigrew as Mr. Poe threw me off-guard).
Do you think they'll make a sequal?

I doubt there will be a sequal (¿sp?) they left too much out.although I loved the casting and acting for most of the actors, I disliked all the changes they made to Klaus' character. I was mostly peeved from the out of orderness, but I didn't like the way they made klaus... I loved Montgomery though

Yeah, Billy Connelly (sp?) is pretty cool... He does lots of work with Comic Relief as well, so that's good. ^^

I must say, I would not like to see a sequel either. They already messed around with the books beyond recognition, although they did do it stylishly... ^^

They changed a lot of things in the movie crying Why did they do that? you're suppossed to base the movie on the book people!
