The dark musty mountains of the south, this barren landscape had no plantlife other then dead trees. Up ontop a mountain in a cave is the dark city of Senbar the city of Dark elves.

We approached the dark mountain slowly. The dead forestry, and black landscape created an ominous feeling of dread within our hearts. The peak of the mountain reached high into the clouds, as if to rip the sky in half. The powerful presence of the dark scenery was overwhelming. The cave entrance to Senbar lay directly ahead....

"What our purpose here?" he asks, fear accumulating in his voice. "Are we fighting them again?"
Although Flavian is already eighteen and yet he had only managed to fight the undead beings. His inexperience gave him fear of the unknown. There were opponents out there which had different skills and frightening abilities. No matter, time will force him to be stronger and give him the ability to silence the lingering evil.

"Not if we can help it Flavian....", i said, "For now, we will enter the city, and try find what we're looking for...." And that's what we would do...Hopefully, fightint would not be necessary, and hopefully the dark elves would give us no trouble...but the strange beings are hard to predict. I didn't know if we'd find what we were looking for...In fact, i didn't even know what we were looking for...But i could sense something about this place...Something evil...something luring...

"So let me summarize this. We are going into a city full of Blood elves." he says. "Also, we are looking for something that we dont even know what it looks like. Now, what happens if we find it? Are we going to confront the thing in enemy territory? I think we should go at night maybe it will help."
Flavian was somewhat anxious of this search. Everything that would happen would be unpredictable, and it would be hard to prevent confrontation.

"Dark elves, not blood elves flavian...", He may have been draku, but he still had some more to learn...I couldn't help it. More often then not i felt as though i was his father... But it was a responsibility i'd not regretted. Many years ago, me and my lover had talked of someday marrying, and having children of our own. I only never imagined i'd get some practice while on my journey. "Me and Flavian will enter the city", i told Iavas. Lecta was sleeping, and i didn't want to waker her up. "I don't know when we'll be back, so find a safe place to stay..." i said. I didn't want any surprise attacks on our small party, expecially when it could've been prevented...

I would be quite difficult to find a good place to shelter the small party. After all, they are in a desolate land have almost no vegetation nor physical features.

"We will enter through the front gates..." i said cryptically. It was the truth. We did not want to alarm the strange elves, and instigate trouble. We would come peacefully, and calmly. "Asay" i said to the large dragon, "take us down near the cave, then take the queen, and Iavas to a safe place", i yelled above the wind, "Flavian, i want you to come with me. Normally i'd go alone, but these are...special circumstances. You must understand, this is no vacation. We are here to end our search, and leave peacefully. Got it?" i asked him. I hoped he wouldn't do anything stupid...Young boys these days were often prone to foolish acts of "bravery" in order to prove himself useful...I realized, that Flavian had the bonus of some experience from Draku, but even so, his mind was not fully developed enough to think things through....Some humans were rash, especially the youth of the lot....

"That's what I was thinking: A casual entry." he says and gets on the dragon. He found it wierd that he was wearing armor made from dragon skin and yet he was riding one. Furthermore, it seems that Asay didnt mind at all or barely noticed. "This isnt really an emergency so I dont see the point of forced entry. Speaking of forced entry, what are the chances they will let us through?"

"You speak as though they had guards?" i questioned him...he was indeed very naive to say the least...To think that every city in Alerna was systemed the same way...yes naive was a good word..."We will haev no trouble entering the city. The only thing i'm worried about is leaving..." i said. Indeed it would be a problem...Even more so, if we were to get in trouble....

Flavian assumed that every city would have at least borders and such. Defense would have been the greatest aspect to a city. This one however was the city of Dark elves. It repelled any humans and the undead didnt attack it since the dark beings sided with them. Thus, any type of defense would be completely unneccessary but Flavian had not thought it through.

"Why?" i asked. I'd not really realized how strange the dark elves' customs were, until now...It would be a good place of defense, it being underground...But maybe that was irrelevant. It didn't matter the reason why people do what they do. The thing one must realize is that things are the way they are, because that is how it was meant to be....Forgetting the question, i answered his, "No, i've never been here before..." i admitted. The truth was, evil cities had never really been on my traveling agenda. I'd searched for a place of solitude, somewhere i'd not ever find in the clutches of the very enemy i wished to escape. Escape now was impossible. It seemed that evil searches us out personally, and follows us through the shadows we rent on forgotten streets......
