[This RP exists simultaneously with the event in progress, starting from immediately after the group left for the island. Assume some backtrack from what you may have done in other RPs. For example, König and Rifter haven't hatched yet-- they've only just been laid as eggs! Try to keep continuity. XD]
Ganon appeared on the horizon as he flew toward the ranch once more, returning from Neu Deutschland. He could only imagine the earful he was going to get from Nicky about just flying off without any warning, leaving her with Lust and the egg... He swept downward, though. He had news, after all! Big news, news worth flying off for at complete random! His wings flared and he landed slowly, moving over to Nicky quickly, hoping to get a word in before she started chewing him out. "Nicky, I know I jus--"

((just curious, but are kyn still able to sense their riders emotions, thoughts and feelings from a far away distance? or better yet could they see what they are seeing?))

Hehe, you should have seen Rowan's reaction when she found out Rosemary flew off to some random unknown place while Rowan was gone.
"W-WHAT?!?!?"
Do I need to put more emphasize on that? An underline? Maybe size 75 font? No? You sure? Alright then.
It's obvious isn't it? Rowan wasn't happy.
She spent the nest little while pacing back and forth and back and forth and finally sat down the in grass, praying to whatever god's up there. Rosemary's barely a week old. Rowan knew that rider and Kyn has a special magic bond between them, but Rowan didn't exactly have that much time to figure out how it works. She was left without any means to contact Rosemary. Rose could be hurt right now! She can't fly properly, so what if another Kyn's giving her a ride? She could fall off!
Rowan continued to panic and ended up finding herself pacing again.
Someone calm her down already!

most of pokes kyn were not doing much better then rosmary. Poke was never brilliant at contacting her kyn through their minds, but the main problem was that because she was so far away. If she was to get into trouble they wouldn't be able to help her out.
Taku seemed to be the calmest of the bunch, sitting still and not moving. Or was he just trying to focus on the bond he and his rider had so he could see what was happening? Kameko and shiro were arguing amongst themselves as to wheather poke could actualy take care of herself.
"she's quite strong by herself you know" kameko protested. "I'm sure she would be able to fight off anyone that tried to hurt her. She is our rider you know"
"Thats the point!" shiro said. "she would deliberately go after any "enemy" that tried to fight her, regardless of how strong or how big they are just so she can prove that she's really strong to everyone."
"but she is really strong!"
"not that strong"
meanwhile, ozzy seemed to be in a agitated mood and sharketsu had managed to fall asleep in all the comotion

Yule and Hadus sat together, watching the others. Of course Hadus was worried about Kori, but she had Tare, and he knew she could take care of herself. After all, she had fended against InuYasha for a while before Hadus had come along! Hadus nodded to Yule and jerked his head toward Poke's flight, then headed over to Rowan.
"Ssh... I know you are worried, but listen to me. She is there with many adults. Tare and Paige are there, and between them and Minya and Aedan, nothing bad will happen to your Kyn. Trust me," he murmured softly, offering his large head to her, to lean against. "They will keep one another safe."
Yule, meanwhile, slunk over to Poke's flight and smiled. "Hey, guys... remember that Aedan and Minya are in the lead here. If those two are as old as they say they are, I don't think anyone's gonna have any trouble, you know? If there was any chance that there would be anyone to fight in... wherever they went, then Ganon would have sent Hadus. In fact, they probably just wouldn't have taken anybody if it was that dangerous..." He smiled and shook himself once. "So try to relax, okay?"

Rowan smiled at Hadus.
"I guess you're right, but I can't exactly just stop worrying. I've only known her for a small while but I'm already feeling like I can't live without her. Knowing her, she'll be causing trouble." Rowan found herself absently stoking Hadus. She had grown comfortable around Ganon's Kyns during her short stay with them.
Rowan sat down again, and stared up at the sky. Rose hadn't been able to fly that well yet, her flight feathers aren't even all out yet. She knew that Kyns are probably different then birds, but she can't help but wonder if Rose if ok.
"Does anyone have an idea when they might be coming back?" Rowan asked suddenly. If she wasn't home on time, her parents would be worrying. They were wary about letting her go to Ganon's place in the first place. She was only just heading home when all of this happened. If Rosemary and the others don't return in a day or two...
God knows how Marina -Rowan's Mother- will be like. Worrying about Rowan 10 times more then Rowan's worrying about Rose.

Hadus shook his head slowly, smiling. "You'll just have to trust that everything is alright. I did try to tell the younger ones that it wasn't as safe for them to go, that they would be better off here, under our protection..." He sighed quietly. "They should be alright. They know what they're doing, and I'm sure they'll be back by this evening." He paused to add, "If they're not, I'm flying up to take a look around."

Many of pokes kyn had stopped to listen to what yule had to say, and it appeared that his words had done their job.
Kameko immediately backed up what yule had said. ("see? I know poke will be fine!") while shiro had shrugged off the matter ("whatever you say") knowing better then to say anything back. Ozzy seemed to relax a little, and Kichi appeared to have headed yules word as well. Taku had noded his head, but that was about all he did as he was still concentrating
"sooo..." Shiro began to ask Taku. "Do you see anything?"
"I see...flowers."
"you see flowers" Shiro said with skeptism, knowing there were a few flowers around the ranch. "so is our rider walking through the dandelions or what?"
"she was looking for something earlier..but thats about it"
Shiro felt like he was talking to a fortune teller.

Shinju watched as the group took to the sky and disappeared from sight before slowly lowering himself to a laying position on the ground. He crossed his foretalons over each other, tail flicking occasionally. He breathed deeply through his nose, his mind obviously concentrated elsewhere than the clearing that he rested in with all the disgruntled noise of Kyn and riders alike. There were greater things that could be learned from listening to his bonded as opposed to the squabbling group. After all, Shinju and Paige had been bonded since before many of the Kyn now present were even hatched, and their bond was strong. It faded with distance, and the long distance coupled with the island's power itself eventually made even Shinju deaf though not blind.

There was a thunderous crash, easily enough to rip Shinju from his thoughts. Lorne had come over and sat down beside him. Ah. "Shinju, you and I need to have a talk, and we're going to have this talk even if I have to pin you under my claw and hold you here against your will. There's something you're not saying. Tare is a good lad, well-disciplined, intelligent, much more than his old dad ever was. And he's very much in love with Asayake. What exactly is your problem with him? Do you even have a problem with him? Why are you keeping them separate when your daughter clearly wants to be with him? You're not making any friends, Shinju." It was quiet for Lorne, meaning that it was loud enough for about anyone to hear but the tone was soft-spoken, not something people would be inclined to pay attention to.

The older Japanese, though smaller, still had a way of looking up at Lorne that suggested the large European's inferiority. His tail gave an irritable flick, obviously uninterested in speaking to Lorne about his intentions. "This business that you speak of is not something that you should be worrying about." He had a no-nonsense tone to his voice, entirely unafraid of Lorne's threat.

Lorne snorted and leaned down some more. "Tare is my son, Shinju, I can hardly see how this is not my business. Tare has nothing but good intentions, why do you turn him away?" He snorted quietly. "I'm frankly not surprised she defied your command to stay home. Shinju, Asayake may be your daughter, but she is not your property. You have every right to feel protective of her. But you also have to think about what will make her happy. I know you think that this will come out badly, Shinju, even if I don't know why. But if you never give it a chance Asayake will only grow to resent you for it. I'm not ready to let Midora go so soon myself, but if a male came to me and asked for my permission to court her... I would let her decide. Tare did not try to sweep Asayake away without telling you, Shinju. He deserves a chance."

Rowan smiled at Hadus. Such confidence, if only Rowan would stop worrying. It was Luneka being born all over again. Rowan was how old at the time? Eight? Ten? She had gone a bit berserk that night, and couldn't sleep, keep on having nightmares of the small girl freezing or starving or getting crushed by unknown monsters.
Rowan tried not to listen to the argument between Lorne and Shinju, as it was obviously not her business. Her mind began to wander, before she realized something. She won't be able to keep Rosemary at home. Seeing Ganon's Kyns, Rose would grow bigger then her house!
Rowan sighed. She really had no idea what trouble she had gotten herself into, running off to the wild and stealing the red egg.
Rowan began to search her memory, prodding anything that might be useful. there was a system of caves just south of Weslock. A feral had lived there once upon a time, that means it must had the necessaries for a Kyn to live. Rowan made a mental note to check the cave systems out once they reached home.
Rowan thinks that she had fallen asleep at one point, for she found herself laying down on the grass beside Hadus. An odd feeling of her mind being opened up had woken her up, and she knew that Rosemary was trying to contact her now.
Contact her...HEY! they were back! Rowan scrambled to her feet, rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, and was just in time to see a small red blur fly into her. Rowan was knocked backwards and Rosemary made a clumsy landing on her chest. Rose dropped something heavy, and Rowan looked down to see a small stone. A large dragonfly was perched on it, its large eyes gazing at her.
I named the Butterkyn Saffron, and the Dragonfly Basil. Rosemary told Rowan proudly.
"Huh? What? What happened?"
Rosemary grinned, and told Rowan the whole story. Rowan had to constantly interrupt her and force the Kyn to translate the French though.
