I say they are alright, not too wonderful but no too bad either. I have "Inhuman rampage" (which I got them to sign mrgreen ), but that's all I need from them.

There are better power metal bands that DragonForce. Realy the only thibng they have going for them is the fact that they play fast. Alot of their songs sound the same, there was a youtube video where someone played one dragonforce song then played another one over it and the only difference was the lyrics, which were basically the same) and a few notes here and there. Other than that it was like the exact same song.

For everyone who thinks DF is overrated, go listen to "Valley Of The Damned". "Sonic Firestorm" is also a good listen as well, but IR was just a great big mash-up of songs. gonk

They're fast & technical...but...the music they play has very little "feel" in my opinion...it just sounds like notes, jumbled together in a vain hope they fit together whee

Yes, their lyrics quite possibly the stupidest mess I've ever heard, their songs tend to sound the same, and, yes, innovation and creativity aren't their strong suits. But the music is so energetic and fun to listen to that I've bought all three of their albums. razz "Sonic Firestorm" is their best, I'd say.
