I was wondering....are all christians assholes? All the ones I have met are. I mean ALL OF THEM. Even when I was one. I'd tel lya more, but right now, I am feeling hurt. So.....

Discussion: Are religious standards becoming too inhibiting for people to think clearly?

well..not all of them are bad..just the one's who take it a bit too far... no one should ever be forced into becoming a christian..also, i believe that same sex love isn't wrong, and why should people who really love eachother go automatically to hell?
now, sex just to be having it, with anyone on the other hand is not only wrong i think, but bad and dangerous for you too, and anyways back to the topic. some branches of christianity do tend to take it a bit too far, which i can't say much about, because to someone else, my values as a christian could seem wrong..*shrugs* it's however you percive it i guess..

Christians who selectively obey levetican law to justify their cases of the willies are assholes, and loud, agressive, born-again christians, hypocritical swindling televangelists, and christians who try to convert people all the time and shun "heathens" are assholes. Despite this, the vast majority of christians are decent, sane people like you and me.

i know a couple christians who arent assholes..

i know a couple buddhists who are jackasses

and jews who are completely awful

and with christians being assholes.. mostly its just the UBER religious types.. the type that say.. OMG YOU SAY DAMN YOU GO TO HELL RIGHTAWAY GODDAMNIT ><;; *capslock said in a cartmanish voice ninja *


all in all.. a group of people who have the same religion arent all assholes.. just the majority of them

lookit me! im christian! not really a practicing christian.. never go to church rarely pray.. never do anything but sit around the house eating cheetos type of christian ninja

The reason why i didn't give much of a worthwhile post is because I dropped all religion when I was 9. I don't even know if I beleive if there's a god. I guess I have taken points from various religions. Like Purgatory for instance. In my opinion, Religion is a crutch. Now, I am NOT saying that if you follow a religion that you are Weak. FAR FROM THAT. I am MERELY saying that when I MYSELF pray or do anythign even slightly religious, I begin to feel weak, measly, puny, and other such feelings that I would prefer NOT to feel. TO fully express what I said above, Religion is a Crutch for the Weak. One fact that I mull over, please hold back the hate from my opinionatedness, is that some people require the thought of a "Him" up in "Heaven" to plan out their lives. We are all constantly saying "It's my life, I live it" then they go and contradict themselves by stating that God has their life planned out. We are not school records. We are not a book already written. You can't just punch our name into the computer and read what will happen tomorrow in 5th period. We are a story en route to the End. Life has a Beginning, a Middle, and an End. The Beginning and End is being Born and Dying. The Middle, is yet to be said. It can have as many chapters, pages, paragraphs, sentances, and words as you want it to. We are all Authors. We write out Life's Story by existing. Whether or not we LIIIIIVE or not is up to us, and how WE *NOT a God/Goddesses/ect* choose to live it.
