I am one of da biggest Zack fanwhores. Almost ten years ago, when I saw his little spikey-headed, blocky, chibi body drag that comatose Cloud, I was hooked on da boy.
An', of course, I was kinda disappointed that he had no last name. Sucha fabulous character, yet he was known as Zack.
One fateful day, I went to Wikipedia and punched in "Zack" an' it gave me a bunch of search options. I was just eyeballin' everythin', looking for plain ol' Zack. But instead what I found was "ZACK FAIR."
So, I think ta myself "This can't be da same one..."
BUT IT WAS.
So, after all these years, so many years of wondering an' speculating... they give us ZACK FAIR? What da hell?!
Anyhoot, what last name would ya given Zack? I was thinking something extravagant like KNIGHTBLADE or something. HAR HAR HAR. I suck at this. xd

I like Zack Fair... I think its very simple and smooth. I was happy to hear they did get all dramatic with his last name. I wouldn't change it now. I did used to draw lots of comic strips with Zack though and in one I gave him the name Benign.

I hate his last name! Simple...but not smooth. "Zack Fair"......it just doesn't click! They could've come up with something better! Cloud's name is pretty simple, but it's nice and smooth!!!!

i agree, "Knightblade" sounds lots more better than "Fair"

I don't know. I was iffy about his last name at first, but it's grown on me a bit for some reason. It just took some time getting used to it. I have no idea what name I would've given him, personally.

Above Skies I would of just named him Zack. Like Sephiroth, having no last name. I agree with that it sounds better as just Zack instead of Zack Fair.
