I thought it was... not that great. I mean, the animation was okay, but the voices annoyed me (even the Doctor's and Martha's, surprisingly). And the story was kind of dull. Hopefully future episodes will be better in terms of plot and... everything else.

Totally isn't really a gameshow, it's more a kids' version of Doctor Who Confidential. The animation was done by Firestep, who also did the Scream Of The Shalka animation for the webcast and the animated sections of The Invasion DVD release.
I love the animation! I know the programme is aimed at about 8 - 14 year olds, but I'm 23!

I dunno, i thought the animation was ok, but not wonderful (mind you I watch a lot of animes so I'm used to really smooth animation) and martha's voice really bugs me. I'm not so big on the character design either...

The voices were terrible but it had space pirates! (kinda) So I loved it.
I only caught the last five minutes of it though so I'm not a good judge...

How can the voices be terrible when it's David and Freema doing them? Each episode is three and a half minutes long. It's the change in acting for the change of audience (ish). Like....they're deliberately going over the top because I guess somebody thinks kids dig that. We all know they can act (even if it's just voices) better than that, but they're just not ALLOWED to for this thing, it seems.

Yeah, what Kaidan said! The Doctor was back to that hyperactive babble mode that we saw in The Christmas Invasion. At one point, I wanted to strangle the Doctor just to keep him quiet...

From what I have heard actors say about voice acting, it is way different from regular acting. If DT & FA aren't used to it they might not do it well yet.

I know! He was on a sugar high again and it got completely irritating at times...bleh...and the animation wasn't so good either... whee

Freema freely admits that she hasn't done any voice acting before, but David has done loads! He's been in various Big Finish audios (Colditz, Medicinal Purposes and Exile to name but three), he did a voice in Scream OF The Shalka (Caretaker 2) and he's played various other audio parts in plays like Maurice and his Educated Rodents and D.I.N.K.Y (Double Income No Kids Yet).

It wasnt so bad was it haha ? Its cute though dr who is remembered by older generations as something they watched as a kid. So many adults are scared of daleks teehee. Its nice that the younger generation get to enjoy dr who too!
