The average person might not be getting enough Vitamin D.
(Part of the problem is that even people who consume vitamin D aren't really using it because, from what I've heard, it isn't really "activated" until you start exposing your skin to UV radiation. Hmmm... I'm not sure how reliable that information is since I can't recall the source... all I know is that we can naturally produce the vitamin D we need if we expose our skin to enough sunlight...)

(& don't say it's because i'm a grunny & i'm only supposed to eat brains gonk ) Prolly cause you've eaten too much of the fruit. not the vitamin. emo

The body can break down and absorb naturally occurring compounds a lot easier, considering these are the ones the body are meant to use.
