 It had gotten rather noisy in the Realm's HQ. Noise made Ayako rather annoyed however, so she had decided to escape from it while she could.
However, the little kitsu underestimated the strength of her legs. It wasn't till after a while when she took a good look at her surroundings and wondered where exactly on earth she was. Which she herself had no idea. Groaning, she lay down on a patch of grass, her wings tingling. If only she could fly...but her wings were to small to support her body in the air.

 Skipping along the path, a delighted little giggle left the Kitsusagi's maw, her tails lashing back and forth. Due to some...previous incidents, both Saix and Edgeworth had been asked to keep an eye on the kit-like Kitsu, however the two of them did their job only halfheartedly and so, the minute they turned, Kitsumi had bounded away.
Now, happy to have at least a little freedom before her 'babysitters' came to find her again, the Kitsusagi decided to use her time to explore a bit. Today was the first time in a while that she had been able to get away from her sitters, and she planned on using her freetime well.
Kitsumi tilted her head up as a gentle breeze blew past, bringing with it the distinct smell of spring - blooming blossoms, and the grass. Again, her tails gave a little happy twitch, her gaze drifting about, before noting something peach-colored in the green of the grass. Cocking her head to the side, she took a curious step forward. "Whazzat?" Kitsumi asked herself, taking another step forward.
It took a few more steps until the dim-witted Kitsusagi finally realized that it was the figure of a young Kit. A grin lit the female's maw as she took a few skips forward towards Ayako. "Heeeey!" She called eagerly. Kitsumi was only a few feet away, when she tripped over her own feet, falling flat on her face in front of the kit.
What a way to present herself.

Someone? Ayako blinked and stood up to look around when she heard the call. What she didn't expect was for the older kitsusagi to fall right in front of her, and she backed away in shock, peering at the other.
"Are you okay?" The little kitsu asked cautiously, bending down to stare at Kitsumi.

Instead of sitting up right away, like most other Kitsusagi would do, Kitsumi instead rolled onto her back, paws in the air as she grinned up at Ayako. "Imma fiiiiiine." She assured the kit, flapping a paw. Then, she suddenly rolled to the side, and then righted herself up. Brushing dirt and grass from her fur, she turned her blue eyes up to glance at the kit quizzically.
"Whatcha doing out here? OH. And my name is Kitsumi!" She held out a paw. "What's yours?"

Oh well. The grass was soft, so she had guessed that the kitsu would not come to any harm. Still it was better to be polite, right? At Kitsumi's question, Ayako was, however, a little unsure of what to say. She didn't want to admit she was lost, not even to herself really.
"I'm taking a walk." She smiled, placing her paw on Kitsumi's. "And I'm Ayako." Suddenly, a question struck her as she wondered if Kitsumi was also from the Realm. Then perhaps, she could follow the other back to the HQ...if she went there, that is.

"Oh?" Kitsumi tilted her head to the side, her ears twitching a bit, before she grinned. "Talking a walk, hm?" Then, standing up, the Kitsusagi bounced from side to side, the plush cat on her head slipping slowly from her head. "It's nice to meet you, Ayako!"
For a moment, she was quiet as she curiously inspected the kit, before piping up, "Are you from around here, in the Mountain? I haven't seen you around before." Then again, that was understandable. She was often asked to be kept a close eye on - it wasn't everyday she got away from her sitters.

The kit gave a little nod back in response. "Nice to meet you too."
What? Ayako blinked at Kitsumi's words. "The Mountain?" She repeated in a calm tone, although she was a little confused. "I'm from the Realm." Oh great, how far was she from there?

Laying herself down on the grass again, the Kitsu pawed at the grass, happy to see it so green after the winter months before. Really, in Kitsumi's opinion, spring was awesome.
Glancing back up at the kit as she spoke, the adult Kitsusagi tilted her head to the side. "From the Realm, you say?" She asked, before sitting up with interest. "The Realm isn't that far from here, if I do remember correctly, though I've never been there before." Then, she broke out of her thoughts for a moment, to look at Ayako again, with a blink.
"Are you lost?" Kitsumi guessed. Afterall, the kit hadn't seemed to realize that the place she was in at the moment was the Mountains.

Ayako sighed, plopping herself back down on the grass. Not far from here...Well, it wasn't so bad. Maybe she could try to find her way back later.
Lost? The kit now had to sigh. Perhaps it was true, she had no clue as to where she was. "Maybe." She admitted rather grudgingly, lying on her back and watching the clouds float by. Still, it was so peaceful out here, she was reluctant to go back. With a swish of her tails, she murmured, "But I'm not in a hurry to go back.

Tilting her head upwards, the Kitsusagi let a small shiver of delight run through her body as a small breeze blew past. She listening quietly as Ayako spoke, before glancing towards her slowly, tilting her head to the side. "I can always help you find the way back after." Kitsumi offered, good naturedly.
At the murmured, Kitsumi blinked curiously, before rising and padding over to the kit, shoving her face between Ayako's face, and the view of the sky. "Oh? But, won't your family be worried that you're missing? Or do they know you went wandering?"

Ayako turned her head to the other kitsusagi, giving her a smile in thanks when she offered her help. She reminded her vaguely of her two brothers, Hemi and Aidan, one all loving towards others and the other hyperactive.
"Hmm?" Ayako blinked and shrugged. "Dad's busy with Liliana, I think, and the others are off somewhere..." She trailed off. It was hard to keep track of 9 siblings.

All three of Kitsumi's tails were waving about, like helicopter blades as she bounced from side to side. "I haven't ever been to the Realm, so it's be an adventure for me too." She paused, before seating herself in the grass again.
"Oh? How big is your family?" The Kitsusagi cocked her head to the side, blinking. "I myself haveee...3 siblings? One of them, the only other female, seems to permanantly be a squirt. She's never grown, but she's fun to play with! The other two always babysit me, but I don't think that they actually want to. They're usually grumpy pants, and really sharp, but I slipped away from them today." She said proudly, puffing up her chest.

Ayako smiled again, feeling the tension in her body relax as a breeze wafted by, stroking her light fur tenderly.
"Well, there's Dad and Mom, and..." She frowned momentarily as she tried to recollect all her siblings. "Liliana, Mau Cho, Vynessia, Katsumi, Nahanni, Romulus, Hemi, Enue and Aiden. So that's five sisters and four brothers." Yup, she didn't forget anyone.

Standing up again, the seemingly restless adult Kitsusagi resumed her bouncing, a grin on her maw.Then, suddenly stumbling, the next thing that happened to Kitsumi was that she found herself falling flat on her back, with a yelp, clonking her head on the ground.
"...Ow."
Wincing, she rubbed at her head with her paw, before turning to look at Ayako, her eyes widening, the pain forgotten. "You...you sure have a large family." Kitsumi commented, hiding another wince as she rose. "What's that like? To have such a big family, I mean?" She asked, looking geniunely curious.

Ayako's turquoise eyes widened as she scrambled up, hurrying over to Kitsumi. Peering down at her with a worried frown, she asked, "Are you okay?" Her behaviour did certainly reflect her need to have babysitter.
"It is quite large." She admitted. "Sometimes there's this lost feeling, being with so many siblings," Just like Nahanni, who seemed to have a fear of being with so many people. "Then sometimes, it's rather fun, watching everyone else get along but there's some that don't seem to." At this, she frowned. She was talking about Katsumi, her grumpy sister that seemed to dislike her family.
