I think there should be one. I would love to see all of the characters over the span of all the games in an anime or a cartoon or something. rolleyes

Yeah! They could have Claire, Jill, Jack, and all them be sibs and each one could live in a differant town. Jill could be in Forget-Me-Not, Claire could be in Mineral Town, Jack could be in Flower Bud...etc. Each episode could take place in a differant town and fans could vote on who the main characters marry!

Could be done well, but would have to have an overarching "problem" to tie it together. Either the main character is a dork and needs to improve, or it would have to be a "save the XXXXXX" type (StH, MM, HMDS, etc) to work.

Absolutely. 3nodding I've been meaning to write a series of fanfics that would all tie-in together like an anime series like the one you described. xd One of these days I'll get it done. rofl sweatdrop But for now, the closest thing we have is the Rune Factory commercial with it's anime-y goodness. xd The Rune Factory Anime Commercial

Yeah, RF or STH seem like the most likely candidates for an anime, although MM/HMDS would be good too. The other "save the farm" stories would work only in the hands of a good writer, who can hook people and keep them interested.
(Although my life right now seems like STH. Too bad it can't be saved by farming and cut scenes. sweatdrop )

An anime would be awesome, and if it does ever happen, I would prefer for them to stick to the original characters from the PS1 game Back To Nature. (Jack, Jill, Elli, Ann, Karen, Cliff, Gray, etc)
I know most, if not all the same characters are from the original N64 game, but their jobs and the couples are different, so I still prefer BTN. 3nodding
That whole town in BTN was just so cool, and the cut scenes were really cute. ^^

And yeah, you're right. I don't think anyone would have any problems making an anime/manga storyline out of it with all of the "drama" so to speak between characters.
It'd be so cute, too, and you could throw in crazy love triangles and all the festivals and man.. That'd be such a cool anime. xD;
(ehe sorry, this is my first time I'm actually talking to other harvest moon fans on a forum, so I'm kind of ranting.)

megaman,pokemon,legend of zelda,mario,kirby, etc.
