I have a patch for it that fixed most of it but right before the battle with jenova in the norther crater the first battle and it freezes and im so pissed cause i wanna fight jenova and sephiroth
well if its for the playstation could you try cleaning the disk? just a thought

Well the word was patch meaning it is for Pc but maybe clean the disk and see if that works.

The PC version just has problems in general if you have anything higher than Windows 98. I had to get multiple patches for that game, yet I wasn't able to find something to fix the movie sequence of the Weapons emerging from the earth on Disc 2. It always caused the game to crash. I searched everywhere, but nothing was there to fix the problem. Good thing I got a PS2 not too long after and was able to start the game over on there.
I own Window's XP and I've run the PC version of the game all the way through to the end with help of the Chocobo Patch. This will help make the came compatible with XP and help prevent a lot of game crashes and it has had a good rating with FFVII fans who run the game on PC. There is some people who say that it doesn't work for them but i've never had any problems with it. Good luck!

This topic belongs under the help section of the guild. But some advice would be to make sure the system and the disc are clean and in order. It has to be one of those two. So, figure out what it is, then figure out how to solve it.
