Do you think they should make more Daria cartoons that show her days through college life?

I think that there should most definitely be more Daria cartoons IF, and that is a big if, they can be made and still keep the same edge and innovative feel that the originals had.
Sadly, it seems that when screenwriters revisit their original concepts after many years they rely too much on the old fan base sticking around for sentimental reasons and don't really put much effort into maintaining or further developing the fanbase.
I would not want Daria put back on if it would mean setling for Daria lite. Instead if it were brought back it shouldbe on broadcast tv and push the limits of prime time cartoonage so that it could last just as long as The Simpsons or King of The Hill.

They'll probably have an episode of Daria writing up essays for the other students and getting paid for it too. I believe that happened in series one but yeah.

Yes, but only if it is uncensored and they have the same writers. I can't tell you how many shows got ruined because of writer/actor changes. sweatdrop

I agree with everything everyone said. Daria is a classic and I would hate it to be brought back only to be ruined. Beavis and Butthead returned didn't they? Well Daria should also but it must have it's same edge as Mr. Yoda has said.
Daria in college? So much material.
+I was just watching the episode where she visits a college in season 1.

As much as I enjoyed Daria, I wonder if the show would be culturally relevant these days. A lot has changed in high schools since I graduated 10 years ago...

Yes, I would love to see Daria in college. Then maybe she and Tom can break up and she can run into Trent, they fall in love, etc. That's horrible of me, but I really really wish she would have ended up with Trent.

Kasumi Ocada, I was thinking the same thing at first... but has the social pecking order, classifications/cliques really changed that drastically? I think if they had the same edgy writing and didn't overly commercialize it, it would be great.

It would still rock no matter where she gets educated! I'd love to see it but I'd hate to have to see the old gang broke up sad Jane, Brittney, Josie, Kevin, and Mack are ALL in different schools none are at the same college now crying ! Damn you writers for making it more realistic, I like when things stay familiar dispite not always going that way in real life!
I suppose they'd still run into each other even though they don't go to the same colleges if they all have apartment complexes in the same area. It reminds me of the Gilligan's Island Rescue movie, that I rented from the Library last week, where they all get rescued and go their separate ways only to realize they miss their chums (although ::SPOILER:: in the end they had a reunion tour but Gilligan, that silly dumbass, got them stuck on the Island ALL OVER AGAIN sweatdrop !!!) But anyway It's not Daria without Kevin's stupidity, Brittney's over all ditziness, or Josie's race bitching etc. Not to mention Upchuck's perverted-ness.

Maybe a new season, but sometimes creators want us to just use our imaginations for what might happen. A..."You never know what the future might hold," kind of deal.
