OOC: Ok, folk, here's what I'm doing. Remember that big plot where the kids were called together to help the agency out because Flashcharge was down? We're doing something similar, the kids are being called on an emergency basis to the center... which is foolish because of the situation... to be explained...bwhaha... Now, I'm going to make this FAST paced... Wednesday, I expect to bring the bad guys in, which means we need to be ready for that point by then. ^_^
IC:
The messaging system, much to our dearly beloved messenger's displeasure, had been upgraded and improved. When important things like... oh, emergency meetings... were called, and flashed and made annoying beeping sounds in the children's training basements until someone came by, read, and replied to the messages. In case guardians and children were slacking, personal cell phone and house phones were also automatically called, the left message simply telling the guardians that their children were asked to call Charles about their credit cards.
So there was no surprise spiders in mailboxes or bricks flying through windows or motorcycles tearing up yards, just phones ringings and systems beeping. Usually this system came up simply to say that there was an extra training date, or the trainees were expected to sidekick or even fill in for the supers sometime in the next week. It seemed like every month there was a false alarm and/or prank, something that always infuriated Charles and Jim. The guardians were well aware acquainted with system bugs by now.
Super-in-training and FAMILIES are to report to safe haven IMMEDIATELY!
This message was either a prank or a cause for alarm... Rarely did Charles call immediately, and never had he demanded all families to attend a meeting. And usually, USUALLY he picked a better time than 3 in the morning to demand meetings.

The all call had not just been for the children, Susan was also there, and she simply came in her PJs. Thomas wasn't there, or else he'd probably already be laughing at her. Girls in their mid-twenties didn't USUALLY where long-sleeved, pink PJs with bunnies on them. Besides, it just wasn't very Susan-esque.
She didn't look tired though, just alert and somewhat annoyed. She was talking with Charles, who was also on scene. Charles had one of those dead-serious expressions on his face. This was no trick. Something serious was up. As they spoke, Susan's apparent frustration switched to concern, and then a nuetral face. She wasn't the one that would give the happenings away.
Charles finished speaking with Susan and walked briskly to the area they'd long ago established as the general meeting point in these situations. He paced, rubbed his hands together, and readjusted his sunglasses. He pulled out his cellphone and opened then closed it. If the guardians didn't get here fast enough, it was apparent enough that he would be going after them.

AriyaLauna usually kept her cell phone on silent, and she missed the fact that her normal phone was ringing.
That was something Megan, who was known as Nitra among her friends now, was a lot more keen on. She'd learned long ago that her guardian slept really soundly, and the teenager rolled out of bed and picked up the phone.
"Shoe?" she demanded as she picked up the phone... But it wasn't someone that knew what shoe meant. It was that stupid man's voice, and he was demanding a call about credit cards. She rolled her eyes. How stupid!
Grumbling about not being able to find mischief and the stupid phones not working again, Nitra stomped downstairs so she could erase the message before AriyaLauna found out about it. She was NOT going to some extra training session. Refused to.
That wasn't the message on the screen, and her tune quickly changed, "Hey, Miss! Miss!!" She hollered up the stairs, hissing. If she had to be awake and pretend this was real, so did AriyaLauna, "PSssst! MISS!! WAKE UP!"
Hollering teenagers DID wake AriyaLauna up and the lady groggily sat up, "Wha--?"
"Emergency! GET DRESSED! We have to leave, like NOW!" And Nitra disappeared to go throw on some clothes herself.
They were at the safe haven within fifteen minutes, along with Bait, Megan's dog. Neither of the girls took long to throw on skirts and shirts and slip on shoes. Megan was even munching on a bagel.
What on earth was going on...?

Raleigh was already up and awake when they got the message. One would have to ask what Raleigh was doing up at three in the morning. Training of course, oh and before that, feeding little Hannah. "Come on now. Eat it." The baby girl giggled happily, wide-awake despite the ungodly hour and ignoring the spoonful of food she'd asked for a few minutes ago.
Ring, ring!
"Hello, what?" He answered the phone, listened to the man drabble on about credit cards for two seconds before darting down into the basement. Extra training session, oh god he hoped so! Though he was going to have to mention something about the time. It certainly left a lot to be desire. Plus getting Ruri up was going to be a drag.
Oh.. wow.
A glass of water should do the trick.
It did, though there was a lot more cursing and carrying on then would have been necessary if Raleigh had simply shook her awake. "What the ******** is going on Raleigh... and why are you dressed, are we going somewhere?"
"There's an emergency, we all have to go. So hurry up and get dressed."
Ruriska had never been a morning person, thus she looked rather dishevelled when they reached the safe haven. Tracky pants and top left a lot to be desired in the looks department but at least they were comfortable. And then there was Raleigh, having slung on a white t-shirt and black slacks, hair loosely bound with a rubber band. On his hip sat the grinning toddler, one little fist clamped around her big brothers brown hair. The hulking figure of Yasuo plodded along behind them.
This had better be good.

Joshua was still awake when the phone rang. Not even pausing in the code he was working on he answered the phone clicking on the button on his ear-piece and going back to typing on the computer. "Joshua here, what's the trouble now?" He had assumed it was just once of the programmer night-owls who deemed it neccisary to get his oppinion on something. Just because I'm not there 24-7 The hacker rolled his eyes, unseen by the person on the other line. It wasn't until he got the message that Joshua sat up a little streighter. "All families? What the heck?!" Though it was uttered in shock, it did waken his mind a little to the graveness of the issue at hand. This was no 'security breach' in the computers, this was something that Candice might have to deal with. With a deep breath he hung up the phone and took off the ear-piece. This might take a little subleness...
Heading upstairs he lightly knocked on the door to 'the Lair' as he had named it. Inside Candice was sleeping, well hopefully. Knowing her night owl tendencies he hoped she had gotten to bed at least at a somewhat descent time 'cause otherwise this would be unpleasent. Peering into the door a bare foot caught his eye. Well at least she was sleeping... the teen was half covered by the blenkets and half falling off the bed. No... squinting in the half light he realized she was partially in the bed, a lag and an arm almost sticking right out of the mattress below her. Sighing softly, Joshua rapped a little louder on the door. This was going to be hard to wake her up without startling her too much, he didn't feel like having to deal with fishing springs out of her leg.
Candice was sleeping soundly. She had finally finished the level before collapsing on the bed that night. In amongst her dream she sensed more than heard Joshua come up to the door, knock on it and open it slightly. Slowly she started to wake up before she felt herself sinking. "Not again... " The teen opened her eyes and pushed with her hands, willing them corporial and out from the mattress so that she could push her body out. While able to use her power without thinking, she sometimes used it without needing to think which left occasions like this. Luckily it was a bed and not her trying to open a door by putting her hand through it right in front of the cute guy at school. After making sure all appendaged were safely out she streached and then noticed Joshua had been standing by the door. "Oh Hi Josh... What's up?" Having him wake her up at this time was an unusual thing, especially as he was usually going to bed at this time. Quickly he explained the story to her and she threw on some clothes, hoping she'd recognize this part of the world of supers.

Zayd was woken up by the beeping; he had fallen asleep down there, although he couldn't remember what he'd been doing (reading a new book, actually). He wasn't that heavy a sleeper, hence why he'd woken up. Stumbling upright, he meandered his way over to the console, stubbing his toe loudly on a piece of miscellanous furniture on the way there, which naturally brought Jenny downstairs - a tad more slowly, and with more of the light-switching on that would be sensible. She strode past Zayd, who was hopping about and whinging about his toe. "Awww, bugger it!" (which was strong language for her). "Sweetheart, we need to scoot" Immediately, to sensible Jenny (or maybe not), meant 'in twenty minutes or so, with some breakfast with them, and warm clothing'. Naturally. They arrived there maybe fifteen minutes later, equipped with a thermos of hot tea, extra jumpers, and sandwiches (several fillings, large amounts) (all of which, naturally, were being carried by Zayd in a large backpack).

Charles kept looking at his watch... and when twenty minutes had passed and only a few guardians had showed, he nodded to Susan. Sighing, she disappeared to the teleporter.
Charles cleared his throat, "We've had a serious breach in the security system and agency. As always, Safe Haven is separate from the other programs, but we will NOT be taking any risks with any of you."
He took off his glasses and looked around the room slowly, making sure to catch each person's eyes, his own deadly serious. "If there is anyone... ANYONE who may know about your powers, we need to know immediately. We have to keep everyone safe, and any more possible information from leaking."
He paused again, putting his glasses back on and letting the information sink in. "We will be sending each of you out to safer areas shortly. Is there anything I need to know, or any questions?"

When Darebone disappeared, it was directly to the guardians' homes who had not yet arrived. She was no nonsense in each home.
"Get up! There's an emergency. Get to Safe Haven. NOW! This is not a drill, it is real. You're in real danger. Get up, get out, now!" Something to the effect was demanded in each household as she switched on lights and tugged covers off of sleeping figures.
Anyone that was up would be faced with her slamming something heavy down in front of them, "Why aren't you gone yet? You have just reliquenshed your rights as guardian! Where's the child? You could have gotten him and yourself killed!"
There was no joking, nothing that broked argument. And she was in and out in a few bare moments, just there long enough to wake people up and get their attention, and she was off to the next house.
The whole process didn't take very long before she started looking for someone else....
..... This was SERIOUS, why hadn't he come!?

Candice kicked the back of her heel thoughtfully as she tried to remember if anyone had seen her train recently. There was that one time I accidently walked through a glass door... She searched her memory but couldn't come up with anyone who might have been paying attention. Luckily someone had come in almost right behind her so any passerby would have to have been really sharp eyed... There was the classroom incident but she was positive no one had seen that either. A pen had dropped off her desk during a test. Not wanting it to make a loud sound and alert the teacher she grabbed it without thinking and ended up catching it with her arm through the desk. Again she shook her head, everyone had been busy crouched over their papers, afraid that any movement otherwise would bring the anger of the teacher upon them.
Joshua immediatly though of The Ghost. He was positive someone had been stalking around the database but had no proof. Jim was starting to think Joshua was a little off his rocker but then again who else would know about the back doors the programmer used to get in the system while he was working at home. He glanced over towards Candice and could see her worried expression before it was wiped over with nonchalance. She hadn't mentioned anything to him about any more incidence since she was a kid so he was quite sure it couldn't have been her.

Well, that didn't sound very good. Ruriska looked a little worried as she glanced at Raleigh and Kaie, hoping this would all turn out for the best. Well, of course it would. It always did, right? Still, one couldn't ignore the look on Charles' face. He was dead serious and if that was the case, well, things were definitely not on the up side.
Raleigh was looking unperturbed. As far as he was concerned, someone finding out about his powers wasn't too big a deal. But it would be prudent not to be too flippant. Ah, Runt had been left at home. A mental link over such a distance was a challenge but he had been practising. "Hold Ai, will ya Ruri?" He passed the giggling baby over to her mother, who placed the babe on her hip and made cute little cooing noises. It was still a somewhat odd sight to see, Ruri being so motherly that was.
Letting out a slow breath, he made a link with the creation that was running around at home. Gathering its being into an invisible ball of energy, he withdrew it back into himself. Now all that would be left was a pile of twigs and leaves. It still hurt Raleigh to do it, but less, since he could now keep the imprint of a creation and recreate it at need.
Sighing softly he relaxed his hand, having made it into a tight fist.

After a brief pause, Zayd stuck his hand up slowly, shoulders hunched in a defensive mechanism; he had gained in height recently, and was still getting used to being so tall. (well, taller. Hormone boosts were fun, ne?) "I - ah, lost, my headband a few weeks ago. I don't think anyone saw anything, though" It was surprising that he had owned up to this; he sounded like he was expecting to be kicked out or something. Jenny - who had been watching Ai with interest - turned around abruptly, her head snapping around. "What?!" she snapped, sounding both angry and irritable - an unusual reaction for her. "You didn't tell me that!" She seemed more irritated with Zayd for not telling her this then about the whole breach-of-security, new-location, etcetera, etcetera, thing.

Suddenly the lights flickered on and off before everyone was plunged into darkness, the room completely silent. All of a sudden the alarms all went off at the same time, fire, security, the PA system. Over the loudspeakers came an insistant whine before it faded into the crackle of deadspace. Chaos erupted as security guards ran around trying to find the source of the attack. A shout echoed from one side of the room as a tech figured out that trying to mess with the breaker when there was no light to see by was a bad thing. The sound was almost deafening, peals of too many alarms clashing with each other bounced off the walls.
Then there was silence once more...
Slowly the lights flickered back on, the emergency systems all shutting off promptly. Something sounded over the PA system, almost like a whisper of a song before that too was cut off.
A tech crewled off the floor and peered at the computer, trying to figure out what had happened with the systems. With a shocked look he turned towards Charles. "Ummm... sir? The computer, it's hacked." There on the monitor screen was the blue screen 'o death, not normally unusual in times like this except this monitor had a large smily face pictured on it in white pixles.

[Late but I'll fit myself in there.]
With all the hub-bub about security systems and hackings, Erol was a little happy to finally see a bit more action then usual. The only thing that didn't set well with him was the fact that other people could learn about his powers.... well there was this one guy that knew about his abilities. He trained with him all the time. Almost daily if one wanted to be a**l about it. Arms crossed boredly over his chest, his beloved guitar strapped to his back in its case he simply leaned against the wall as Charles spoke.
Eyes squinted as the other man made eye contact but he said nothing. In his rush to get here he didn't even bother telling Akila, the less he saw of her the better. Probably cuddled up with her boy toy or something... he thought and left it at that as he pushed off the wall. His eyes slowly trailed the room looking over at the other guardians and the kids. He noticed Raleigh but kept his jealous rage to himself, the other had come a long way but he'd never admit that aloud. The most oddist of all was Ruriska and her child, so motherly... he couldn't help but shudder that woman was anything but the last time he check.
It was then the lights flickered and went out, the noise was enough to wake the dead but Erol remained calm watching and waiting. All went silent from the brief moment before lights turned on and it became obvious this situation had gone from bad to worse. "Oi vey..." he muttered keeping most of his comments to himself. Though he was two seconds away from cursing up a storm, more trouble in Haven-land. A roll of the eye presented the best means of reacting.

Lorina had woken with a gasp as cold water was poured on her face. She glared at the blond woman, and grabbed her arm as she moved to wake Airaka up. To keep herself from vomiting she covered her mouth, but shook her head at the same time. It didn't help much. "I'll get her," Lorina explained. Getting off the couch, she staggered to Airaka's room, and woke the woman up. By the time the two had made their way back to the living room the woman was gone so the two moved by themselves down to the training area.
They had arrived silently half way through Charles' speech, and noticing there were some boys here, Lorina tidied up her appearance a bit, pulling strings of hair from her eyes. Lorina felt ill from the hang over and she did have a boy friend, but all the same. She pushed Airaka out of the way of the teleporter encase the blond b***h came through it again. Airaka looked to her with a raised brow then back to Charles, meaning the old man had said something that could be claimed important. It most likely had something to do with her powers, and since she never dared use it in public, it was to gross, no one would know.
Lorina let out screams as the lights went off and then as the noise suddenly tore through the cautious silence. Her hands flew over her ears and she squeezed hard, trying unsuccessfully to deafen out the alarms. It hurt so much more then it should have. The silence came as suddenly as the alarms, and her eyes unclenched slowly, checking to make sure she was safe. She rubbed her green eyes, looking around the area. She grabbed her arms, and shifted from foot to foot. What exactly was going on?

The woman stood as calmly as possible as one of the lab scientists briefed her on the safeties of the looming machine next to her. "Make sure all your appendages are inside the machine because... well, we're not quite sure if they'd be left behind and... we'd really rather not take the chance." The tech guy rubbed his head nervously, fidgeting uncomfortably under the glares and stares of his assembly. A few of the woman's associates blatently laughed at the statement. "What's a few missing limbs anyway?" A brash young man scoffed as he knocked the wind out of the nearest guy next to him with a "pat" on the back. The woman tried to contain her disgust at having to work with people such as the young man who had the intelligence of a toaster. She crossed her arms over her chest and briefly closed her eyes, listening to the coughs and scuffles of the people next to her. Just pretend it's like the old days, she thought to herself, before they found you. Invouluntarily she shivered as the thought of them crossed her mind. True before she was recruited she was only a player in the minor league and now she was with the best of the best, but... she had known the people she was working with before and trusted them to have her back. Now, she had to be twice as careful not to get herself into any life threatening predicament because she couldn't count an any of them to bail her out. "Aaand...." The tech guy flipped through the papers on his clipboard, bringing the woman from her thoughts. "We're going to want to only do it once, because we can't guarentee we can get the frequency right twice s-so... it's going to be a tight fit. Y-you'll all be crowded together until we get you in the building." He forced a small smile, which did nothing to disuade the very evident glares of hatred. The woman steeled herself for the journey, but how was she supposed to even know what to prepare herself for. She had never been transported before. The group clammored into the machine, taking care not to press too closely to the two focuses of the group. The woman found herself right next to the shorter of the two and frowned at him. How was he so important? "E-everyone ready?" The scientist asked. Before he could get an answer, he threw the switch.
