Lately, i've been seeing a lot of people, emo people, that say they are true slipknot fans, they are bringing down the credibility of normal slipknot fans..... They probably haven't heard anything other than Duality and Before I Forget, which also bothers me when people say they love slipknot yet have only heard those two, or just Wait and Bleed
Iowa is the greatest CD and i can't consider you a true slipknot fan if you have never at least heard the songs on it, I mean it's impossible to not like all of the songs on Iowa. Pisses me off.... Freakin Poser Emo' "Slipknot Fans" (they call themselves) are not fooling me.....

I've never really noticed.
But not many Slipknot fans are in my area.
(I'm the only fan in my school.)
But even so, those ******** better lay off of our music. D:<

Yup it bugs me, but then I realize that I will always be a bigger fan than they are, and that comforts me knowing I'm better than them in every possible way. Just dont let em get to ya.

Relax. It's just music. There's a shitload of songs that I like by all sorts of metal bands, but that doesn't make me a fan of those bands. Just because some "emo f**" likes a few songs off of Slipknot's 3rd album doesn't necessarily make 'em a fan and/or poser. o.o;
But anywho. I love the Iowa album. It's a masterpiece. I have all fourteen tracks on my iPod. Their self titled album is a masterpiece as well. So is their third album. I love all three albums. As well as almost all of their songs. There's some songs by them that I like and are excellent, but I'm not really crazy about them.

Then again if someone were to call themselves a Maggot or Slipknot fan and have only heard a couple of songs, maybe it means they have the intentions to become a bigger fan. Just like in life, you don't come with all the answers, you have to figure them out. and just because they discover Slipknot at a later time then you, doesn't make them any less of a fan either. Just giving you a different perspective, I'm very open minded and I think of these things.

I personally dislike emo's just because of the suicide that comes along with their culture. Well, it comes to some emo's, not all of 'em. >>

Ive noticed it too and it does kind of piss me off because SlipKnoT is life to me surprised
But I guess it doesnt really matter, just ignore them, although its hard to D:

It actually pisses me off. scream
I was on my bus listening to my iPod and it just so happened to be on my favorite Slipknot song, Spit It Out and he was like," yo lemme listen to that Duality song." Then he asked me who had sung it.... evil So I responded with a simple "no ******** you and you suck".Iowa is the best album and if you're gonna be a Slipknot fan, listen to the old stuff too.

And eh, I haven't really noticed. If people like Slipknot because of Vol. 3 that's fine, personally I prefer their older stuff but everyone has their own opinion. It does however, bother me if they say they're a huge fan and have loved them from the begining but don't know hardly anything about the earlier stuff, mostly because they're obviously lying.

Yea, that happens a lot;;
like acouple at my school
The people at my school were talking about it.. how they love slipknot.
So i took my ipod and said. "My friend put this song on my ipod, idk what it's called can you help me?" So they took the eye bud..
and i was playing pulse of the maggots
they had no idea then i said it was slipknot and kicked the dude in the face.
it was halarious..
