They come out of their shadowy corners in the depth of nowhere to come mingle or fight with other modifoxes. Playing out in the fields they start, tag being the first game. Though after a couple of runs they realize its no fun with just two modifoxes. Others were scarcely spotted nearby so they hadnt made friends yet.
Isnt it about time we.. yanno.. made friends?
Whats the matter? My company not good enough for you?
Shori tackles Katie playfully.
No, you're not, you're boring, you smell, i hate the colour of you, and the worst at keeping secrets.
Katie scowls at Shori but when he pokes out his tongue she realizes he was only mocking. She draws a slight smile across her face before nipping his ear and running off toward the border of the field. Shori gave chase and the two come to a steady halt underneath a tree to catch their breath. They sat and looked over onto the next field wondering if there would be more modifoxes living over there.
I've got another game we could play, wanna hear it?
Sure, surprise me.
Kiss or Dare... and its my turn to dare you
Shori smiled beneath his paws as he watched Katie scowl again. She pulled up her nose in a cute way that Shori found pleasing and though it couldnt be called attractive it affected Shori in a strange way.
Aargh, fine! Dare me.
Heh, alright. You first into the next field and I dare you to pinch the tail of the first fox we find.
Shori! You are going to get me into so much trouble.
Well you've the alternative if you want to kiss me instead
Katie started off over the hedge in a huff. Shori followed closely behind still smiling at her. Katie felt the smile relieve her off the anger about the dare and playfully ran from Shori in short bursts across the field.

Over in the next field the grass was long, higher than the two modifoxes. The only clues to each other's where abouts was the moving grass and the sound of panting. The grass grew thicker and suddenly became dark, right before Katie went head first into the largest tree trunk the two had ever seen. She fell, perched over a root, as Shori came quickly behind. He didnt say anything, only nudged Katie with his muzzle. Katie slowly opened her eyes to watch a worried face licking her cheek. Though dizzy still, she smiled and rolled over. Shori followed, nudging more playfully and nibbling her ear. The two modifoxes were lost out in the new field but they were having more fun than ever.

Ari wasn't quite sure what he was doing in the field. Wandering about aimlessly seemed more like the sort of thing his sister would do. Didn't he have everything he could want back in the Lunarie Tribe lands? A wonderful mate, a tribe they both led, excellent tribe members...
Yet he was still disappointed by how small his tribe was. All of the others seemed to be growing by leaps and bounds, while his remained so small. What, exactly, was he doing wrong?
Ari sighed. He had asked himself that question what seemed to be a thousand times, and he still had no answer.
((Sorry about post shoddiness. My brain his half dead. But Ari needs to go out and about more often, so...))

Shori paused from the playfulness for a moment to look longingly into Katie's eyes. As he almost closed them again he noticed the long grass moving from a near distance. His ears turned to track the sound of another modi.
What is it, Shori?
Shori held his paw close to Katie's lips.
Sssh! Theres someone else around here.
Well good! Isnt that what we came here for?
Well I was thinking I'd be able to take a good long from afar to check they were part of some murderous tribe! The thought of those guys makes me realy nervous.
Not all tribes, if any, are like that. Anyway, theres two of us and sounds like just one of them.
Katie stood up tall trying to peer between the narrowing tips of the grass blades. A taller figure could be seen casting a shade but the face wasnt clear. Shori stood too, ears poised. The two modis waited for the other to get closer.

Ari noticed movement in the grass, and paused. What was that? He could see a head now, looking like it belonged to a modifox. And then another one. Ari stared at the pair, but it looked like they were waiting for him to make the first move, so he continued approaching.
"Hello," he greeted them.

Katie rested her paw over Shori's mouth.
Hey there. The scaredy little green thing is Shori, and I'm Katie. We live in a small hideaway over in the next field and came here to see how many other modifoxes were around. We rarely see anyone, its great to meet you.

Snowfur was walking, just to be out of trouble, when she saw some other foxesin the grass," Hello! Didn't know that this many other foxes walked around here."

"Hello, Katie and Shori. I'm Ari, from the Lunarie Tribe." Ari looked at the pair of them. They must have found a good hiding spot here, if they hardly ever saw anyone around.
Hearing more footsteps approaching, Ari turned to see another modifox coming. A female, of the Kousetsu Tribe by her tattoo.
"Hello. And who might you be?" Ari asked the newcomer politely.

"Hello, Snowfur," Ari greeted the Kousetsu member. He wondered idly what a member of that tribe would be doing so far from their cold and snow home, but he wasn't going to ask. It could very well be something personal, and prying wasn't his thing.
"Not mauling other foxes?" Ari looked at Shori, wondering if the other was serious or not. Probably not, but even if he was, Ari did have the size advantage, being an elder and all.

Me and Katie are the only ones from over in the next field. We dont have any familly that we have contact with. There could be more foxes in this field who are unrelated though.

Well... Katie doesnt need anyone else 'cuz shes got my wonderful presence.
Katie gave Shori a look of disgust before cracking into a smile.
Actually, we've come looking for a bit of company. We need more friends n such if we'd want to play tag or hide n seek. I was looking t see if there any families in the area too for advice if we ever have kits
