You can do whatever you want with it! I think I put my first one in my hair.

If you leave it outside, make sure to put it someplace where it's safe but not in your walking path. They're easy to kill. sweatdrop

I put my first Jacob's Ladder in my hair, too!
And then to preserve the memory that it was the first,
I placed it in the dresser.

Now there's lots of other Jacob's Ladders around town,
but I remember that one as my first.
