A congratulations with that fourth option there. XD (Maybe a little bit of encouragement, he's gonna need it.) Of course, the congrats won't be enthusiastic or anything. He'll just give him that creepy "I'm looking through your eyes to your soul" look.
I think by killing the person he is, making himself only an avenger, Sasuke's victory over Itachi will be meaningless. He won't have the peace of mind he thought he would...he'll just be...emotionless. He won't feel any sense of accomplishment.
Kakashi wouldn't lecture him, because Sasuke's learnt his lesson already. If Kakashi were to try and say "I told you so." He knows the outcome wouldn't be a good one.
And because I don't think Sasuke's cut the bonds with his friends(simply burried them, I like to say, and they can be dug up again) Sasuke will be very upset to find that he's hurt so many people he's cared about.
And Kakashi's going to come and make it all better. biggrin Ditto on that. I sad but I think that's the only way Sasuke will learn the true feeling of avenging. Anyone would think at first that avenging will complete you and you will feel satisfied. But that satisfaction only lasts for a moment, eventually you'll feel empty.
When you want to avange, you work you a** off to accomplish it and you're whole life centers on that desire. You don't really know anything else besides that. Once you accomplish it...now what? What are you gonna do?
I think Kakashi would just understand Sasuke's empitness (if he feels like that) and make Sasuke realize that he can still do and accomplish other things.
