A small Pagoda located in the heart of the capitol city. Thousands of Courtiers line the courtyard carrying large firenation banners. Large aisles stretch between the flag bearers allowing citizens and guests to view the coronation. At the center of the pagoda is a funeral pyre displaying the dead body of Fire Lord Zuko II.

Tsuzuki entered the corronation ceremony in her newly purchased gown. Most of the faces weren't as sad as she'd expected. Instead, their expressions were replaced with boredom. She hadn't known either Fire Lords: the old one or the new one. She might've met them earlier in her life but she was too young to have remembered.
She stared up at the body and sighed; funerals were always so depressing. 'Oh well,' she thought, 'From what I've heard, I get something out of all this.'
She wasn't terribly exited about being a part of the military. But it did mean she wasn't banished anymore and that was always good. It was also a good thing to shove in her father's face.

Kuzon stared out at the sea of red banners, they reminded him of the trips to the beach he had taken with his father. But today was not the time for memories, today was a time for preparations.
The Firelord blew the hair out of his eye and returned his attention to staying absolutely still. Slowly the speaker began, "Firelord Zuko II: Firelord to our nation for the last 40 years. You where our savior from the shadow of Ibiki, our leader in the battle of Salamander Island, and Father of Kuzon." A group of cremators moved toward the dead corpse of the former Firelord, flames licking at their fingertips.

arrow Coronation
Sanada Xio stood near the flaming throne of the Firelords, resplendent in his glorious armor and two pair of gilded swords sheathed, Ye huo ren and the Re cheng shen-jia. As this was a formal occasion, the young man had left behind his common cloaked garb and tidied up, brushing his hair down and donning his formal xiang lian and gai zi.
As Kuzon, a man he didn't even know, prepared to become the leader of his homeland, Xio was merely placated by the return of his family to the nobility of the Fire Nation. He'd finally achieved the dream of his insofar short life, and now it was time to continue living it, even in the service to a new Firelord.

Tsuzuki waited patiently in the crowd for Fire Lord Zuko II to be sent into the spirit world and for Prince Kuzon to become the Fire Lord. It wasn't every day that a new Fire Lord was crowned. People were lucky to even see one crowning in person, much less two. She looked over and saw Sanada Xio standing a little ways off. She narrowed her eyes inwardly but showed no outwardly change of expression. She knew that they both owed the new Fire Lord and would probably have to work together in the upcoming war. 'I just hope that this war doesn't last one hundred years. . .' she thought to herself, remembering the last large war.

((Jumpstarting things here. . .))
Tsuzuki watched as the flames engulfed the old Fire Lord's body and Kuzon was pronounced the new Fire Lord. She was filled with both awe and terror at the same time; it was inspiring. She knew that she would never be a Fire Lord as she quietly wondered to herself what they would call a female Fire Lord (Fire Lady?). This was a comforting notion.
She yawned, getting suddenly bored by all of this and wanted to leave. But she was waiting for the new Fire Lord to explain why he had invited her and Xio to the corronation. She sizzled with anger as she even thought of Xio's name. Tsuzuki was never quick to hate someone (especially someone she didn't even know) but Xio was a disgrace to the entire Fire Nation but mostly the nobles which meant her. "Let's get this over with," she mumbled impatiently; she wanted to get back to the Earth Kingdom and, despite her previous depression, wanted to prolong her fugitive position.

She arrived, her teacher walking better than before,so he only leaned on her slightly ever so often. There was so many people, or she say "officals". Kurai blinked her eyebrow was raised as she did a 360* examining everything from top to bottom. She paused staring at the main building, her vision did the tunnel vision. Deep down she felt like she had been there, same feeling she had when they arrived at the fire nation. "Teacher, what do we do now...?" She whispered to her teacher eyeing the guards.

Fulgar walked along side Kurai and his newest pupil, their clothes were all ripped apart which was in strict contrast with the grogeous gowns and all the dressed up people mourning their lost leader. Fulgar hadnt known either the new or old leader.
Teacher what do we do now? His mind snapped back into reality, Fulgar raised his eyes to the guards "We're here to swear allegiance to the Fire Lord" Fulgar said, the pair of guards let them pass into the ceremony, the body already burned.

Li looked around him in awe...this was all happening so fast, he could hardly take it all in. He suddenly realized he was going to be in the presence of some the the highest officials in the Fire Nation, and started to attempt to straighten out his red martial arts top and black pants, and began to run his fingers through his messy black hair, attempting to at least look a bit presentable. Li bent over to Kurais ear, "So exactly what am I sopposed to be doing?" showing apparent concern and nervousness in his voice.

She wasn't the only surprised by the whole scene going on. It was like a gigantic party...but for a dead king she never knew existed. Walking past the gaurds looking at the amazing architicture the new student leaned down to her. Part of her was embrassed, he was also taller than her and yet he was younger. Kurai heard his questions before asking what they or he should be doing. "Honestly I don't know" She whispered before giving a soft laugh and sheepish smile.

Fulgar walked trying to look dignified, but his attempts failing from his tattered clothes. His brand new black leather coat flapped with the movement of his heels. Fulgar looked behind him and finally said something "hey guys, help me out, help me find the fire lord." He tried to scan the many people looking for him, but all he got were stares, he hadnt had the chance to wash up or change his clothes, hell he didnt have any clothes to change into. He looked that the new kid... what was his name? He thought for a second... Li! "Hey, Li, you live here what's the fire lord look like?" Fulgar turned his head to the side and popped his neck multiple times, instead of the usual relief it was one of those times where it kinda hurt. He let out a small "ow" under his breath.

Li looked to Fulgar, "Um, Im sorry, I really dont know what he looks like, Ive never seen him before." The 16 year old firebender looked around, meeting the occasional stare back, they looked so ragged compared to the other people. "Id take the guess to look for the wealthiest looking one in here...that would probally be the Fire Lord, maybe?"

Li, the new student, and Fulgar, her teacher, were speaking of the fire. This just made it easier for Kurai to stray off. In the massive crowds of people and gaurds Kurai got seperated. She blinked looking around, spining widly, tip toeing, and frantic arm waving. Kurai got seperated and lost, she walked around aimlessly trying to find her teacher or Li. But everyone looked alike so how come she couldn't find them, they should have stuck out like a sore. "F-fu-san!" She looked around hoping her teacher would respond. Biting her bottom lip, "...." She tried to remember her new companion's name. "LI!" She shouted it with a sense of victory of remembering. People, rich people, paused looking at her with scrounged up faces and snotty attitudes. The gaurds stared at her noticing she wasn't from around her due to her behavior. Giving a nervous laugh she disappeared into the crowd, in hopes to find her friends. "Fu-san.... Li..." She mumbled gripping the edges of the sleeves due to her situation that was causing her to become nervous.

Li Xhang began looking around again. Even for spending his life in the Capitol, and going up to the higher class distric to the academy, he never saw so many people in such nice clothes, he figured that maybe they had there servants go out and shop for them. He turned to talk to Kurai, but noticed she was missing. "Kurai!.....KURAI!!!" Li began looking around him, calling out the name of his new friend. He turned to Fulgar "Fulgar I think Kurai got lost in the croud,". He turned looking around for her again. "Im gonna go find her....try not to move ok?". And with that he went off into the croud in serch for the lost girl....
