I don't get made fun of. Either they don't know what it is, or I've gotten them addicted to it usually.

they say

I always say

most of my friends at university mock me for liking cartoons (anime) in the first place.... so when they found out i liked avatar... they just thought... "oh, shes just being herself and acting like an 8 year old..."

Only my friends know, and they're accustomed to me liking shows that aren't usual.
Then again, some people might have seen the doodles I do in Math.
I've never been bugged about it, though. It's not as big up here in Canada than it is in the US.

Most of my friends don't watch it, but they occasionally poke at me and the one or two of my group that do. Never anything harmful, they just roll their eyes, usually. It's funny. 3nodding We now have an inside joke about the red mark.

My friends watch Avatar, but they're not as into it as me, mostly because they can't watch it when it's on or they're more interested in anime.

A few people in Club know of Avatar, and some watch it. I don't really get made fun of. (And if I do, I don't notice.)

I don't get made fun of at all.. No teasing whatsoever. Everybody respects each other.. That's what I like about them..
Although.. Hehehe.. You have to read this..
There was this gradeschooler that was doing some bending move like Aang and he would go like "I wanna be an airbender!! I want to fly!!" Then, he would jump around with his hands stretched sideways and do some of Aang's moves while he was at it.
He looked so happy we didn't bother telling him that it's just a drawn cartoon. (Or that's what they want us to think.. Du-du-du-dum... ninja )

AWWW that's cute!
i never been teased at all..or at least not that i know of...my family knows i watch animes (they consider it cartoon but who cares..) so they know i watch Avatar. but since i now go to a univeristy, i dont have time to watch anything... until friday at the least. crying

I haven't been made fun of. But when I found out that a girl in my class likes Avatar too, she told me she thought people would think she was a geek for watching Avatar. And I was like, "Nah. We Avatards are the coolest people around!"

I actually used to beat people up when they made fun of me for liking avatar. Then they just stopped. This one popular kid was making fun of me and a couple of other kids that like avatar I told him to shut up and he gets off on me going "what'll you do!? Oh, no! Dont firebend me!" I shoved his head into the lockers and broke his nose. They all left me (and the other avatar fans) alone after that. The popular kid still acts like a d**k though, but I dont care I dont go to that school any more.
Edit:
Though after beating on that jerk the principal made me spend time with him trying to analyze me or something. He was actually ok with it once I told him I just snapped because I couldnt take the ridicule anymore. I like that principal, real nice guy.
