Are guard members and drummers the same as cheerleaders and football players??? as in the dating side of it......some of my best friends in the guard are dating drummers or some of my best friends on the drum line are dating guard members............

Pfft. Nah. As much as I love my drumline (I'm in Guard), I would never date any one of those guys. They all scare me just a little bit.

no, all the guys in my line think that the guard girls are snobbs. (Accept one of the tenners, hes dating a flag girl...)

Oh man I know what that's like. It was the same with my guard. It was such bull s**t. The guard members would fight over who was allowed to have a crush on who. And it pissed me off so much. Fake a** drama.

Well, two of our guard girls last year dated drummers, but one of them switched over to baritone (I still don't know why). But guard and drummers isn't really a set in stone thing for every band.

haha all the guys in our drumline are each dating either a guard girl or a girl in the line, all except for me and 2 other guys who are in pit (i play bass), but that was last year.... and weve lost all but maybe 1-2 guard members to graduation (out of like 7-8, maybe more) and 3 wonderful girls in the line (well maybe two as one girl, her bf was rubbing off on her and hes a prat)
im gonna miss the drumline gals, they were cool

Our drumline last year was mainly girls actually. Our whole snare line was girls. Our bass drums all freshman boys. And our tenors, two girls and one senior boy. And I am guilty of dating one of those freshman boys. XD But, technically he's the same age as me so it's all good. smile We still are dating actually! Heehee 4laugh

Supposedly Our Guard and Drumline had some huge rivalery the few years before I joined. But then a ton of people started dating.. and now the rivalery as just kinda disappeared.

Dating-wise, I think my high school guard was kinda equal between drumline and low brass. One of the captains was going out w/ a tuba, and one of the other girls was dating a snare. Our other captain almost dated one of the percussion section leaders, but then again she also almost dated a baritone. I chose to be different tho, lol: I went out with a trumpet. blaugh

i hate cheerleaders, and i never really cared, i know people in the bandbut never really thought of dating anyone.
