It'd be hard to get used to. For starters, there's two sides to the board, and the right pieces can travel infinitely. Rooks increase sharply in value, while bishops are now practically worthless, since they can't move more than three squares.
What would the setup look like?

I`ll think you`d have to use either three pieces to put the board together cause the 3d shape is broken and therefore cannot be a complete shape. The parts of the board are at different angles, but that`s just my analysis of it as far as the board goes. sweatdrop If you look part the tilted angles of each corner, you could just use a cut piece of board, but from the picture, the sides overlap in a way. confused At least that`s how it looks...
