hehehe...
Actually, I'm still in the process of contacting guild leaders and inviting more members. Know of any religion guilds not included yet, other than Christian, Pagan or Hindu? Those are the ones I'm still going for right now.
And by the way, if anyone has any suggestions as to which Christian and Pagan guilds to invite, that would help too, as there's many of each. I have no problem with inviting more than one guild of any given religion, btw.
I also want an Islamic guild, but the leader is inactive in the only one I could find. neutral

Many of the people who are in the Buddhist Guild are also in the Hinduism Guild. It was mentioned that you can pretty much count the Hinduism Guild in the Alliance, considering, although you may or may not wish to wait for formal confirmation. The Guild hasn't been active in over a year, so I'm not sure if it's worth waiting. Up to you. sweatdrop

I'm not really sure about bringing in the Egyptology guild... I have nothing against Kemeticism, but the guild isn't really a Kemetic guild... it's an Egyptology guild with a religion forum. I will send a PM to the captain of that guild asking what his opinion is. I may accept them.
I've been wondering about the Hindu guild, and what to do. As far as I can tell, it's the only one on Gaia. Does it have an active vice-captain? If I wait for a response from the captain, I'll be waiting a looong time, as he hasn't even been on since last June. sweatdrop I think I might take a vote from the Mods in that guild and if they unanimously agree, I'll count the guild as part of the Alliance. 3nodding
I think I'll do the same for the Islamic guild, which is having the same situation.

Sacred Sources would be among the better additions to the Alliance as far as Pagan guilds go. As I am a MOD for that guild I could perhaps facilitate the incorporation if you let me know what needs to be done for that.

Starlock Sacred Sources would be among the better additions to the Alliance as far as Pagan guilds go. As I am a MOD for that guild I could perhaps facilitate the incorporation if you let me know what needs to be done for that. I'd love it if you would do that for me. That definatley appears to be one of the better Pagan guilds out there.

DoA, here's a question one of my fellow MODs at Sacred Sources had and since this is your brainchild, I think I could facilitate your answer back to him: Atma311 I'm all for it, but could you explain more as to what this alliance will mean? Will we need to do anything special or will we have a large amount of members joining our guild because of this? I'm also curious as to what this will mean in the long and short run (or in other words, HOW making the alliance will promote tolerance).

Here is the message I sent to each religious guild: Quote: Participation is up to you. You can do as much or as little as you like. I'd love to host cross-guild events, where members of one religion teach in another guild, answering questions. I'd like to hold a council of guild leaders within the alliance where we meet and discuss tolerance and cooperation between religions on Gaia and in real life. Or, at the very least, we can link to each others' guilds. Hope this sounds like something that interests you. It will help out everyone, making Gaians more understanding, and helping everyone's guilds grow. 3nodding

Oof. I was on a bit of a hiatus. But I will be around this summer and I am updating in my guild a lot. I hope this is still active?
I don't know of any other guilds to suggest. x.x Except maybe issue guilds that would want to promote tolerance as well, maybe like a pro choice or pro life guild. It's not strictly religious but I'm sure a lot of issues guilds are also concerned with similar things. Although I'm pretty sure this will be kept to religious guilds but I was mainly thinking it might be interesting later to have events at least that aren't limited to the religious guilds.
