Toki smiled as Ari-kun and her walked to where Ari-kun's tribe would be. She was glad they came back here it was so peaceful and wonderful. She didn't think any other tribe would have a beautiful land like this.

"We never got to see what's past the lake last time. So let's go look."
Ari lead the way, past the lake, wondering what else might be in these lands he was going to claim as his own. Lake, forest...And were those mountains up ahead? Possibly. They were right in his path, so he would find out soon enough.

she wondered what would become of Ari-kun when he became a elder. Would he not have time for her anymore? That would indeed be sad but either way she go see him when ever she had time to spare.

At the far edge of the lake, Ari found caves, maybe part of the mountains that he had seen in the distance. Those looked like they would make for a good place to store food, and sleep during the day. If there was nothing already making its home in the caves, anyway.
"Should we explore them?" he asked, peering into the opening of one of them, trying to see just how deep the cave was.

Toki walked beside Ari-kun. She wondered what he was looking at but she didn't ask. The wave marked girl nodded. "Sure." She smiled as she found out what he was looking at.

"There should be enough sunlight to show us some of these, at least." Ari was starting to dislike the daytime more and more, but if it was the only time he could spend with his best friend, he supposed he could make the small sacrifice of staying up during the day.
"It'd be easier if we could get light in there somehow, though," Ari said, walking to the edge of the light in the cave, and staring into the darkness beyond it.

Toki nodded as she smiled. The cave looked very nice. she hoped Ari-kun would take it as some of his land.
"Yes it would. There might a stone that we can find to light this cave up. Or we could get one of our humans to make a fire and put it on a large sick than some how have it on the walks?"

"The humans can't really understand us, so I don't think that would work too well...But a stone that lights things up? Where could we find one of those?"
Ari had never heard of one of those before, but he doubted Toki was just making it up. She wasn't the sort of person to play a prank like that.

"That's true." She sighed then looked at him. "My human showed me a story book once and it had a image of a glowing rock. After she finished showing me the book she showed me a rock that glowed when you pushed a button."
((She talking about one of those outside lights like a round jelly feeling light. If that makes sense^^; ))

It would be a lot easier if modifoxes and humans could understand each other, Ari thought. But they couldn't, and that was just how things were.

"How far away does your owner live? We could borrow some, and give them back when we're done..."
That sounded like a good idea to Ari, at least. Then they would be able to see what was in the caves.

Ari walked out of the cave, and waited for Toki to show the way to her owner's house.

"She shouldn't mind. After all she did take care of me. And she's nice but she's kinda like your owner so be careful of my arms. She might hug you to death..." Toki followed Ari-kun outside than lend them to her Owners house.
