okay, i'm thinking of getting wow again maybe but i will be creating a new character. do i need to buy bc right away or is it more of a level 60+ expansion and i can hold out for awhile?

i was curious how the new areas work.
aren't the two new major cities in eastern kingdoms and that other large place? what's preventing me from entering? i wasn't planning on being the new races but can i still see them? and i can still play with people who have bc right?

No, only 1 new city is in the Eastern Kingdoms. The capitol city of Silvermoon City in Quel'Thalas, North of the Eastern Plague Lands. The Exodar is the capitol city for the Draenei on Azure Myst Isle which are the islands directly south of Teldrassil. Each area has the racial 1-10 and a new 10-20 are. For the Blood Elves it is the Ghostlands, just south of Eversong Forest; and Blood Myst Isle which is the north island or the 2 new islands.

You can not go to those new areas w/o BC, and you will still see Draenei and Blood Elves.

Both new areas and races are beautifully done. Although, you will mostly run into ******** on some realms in Azure Myst and Eversong. Oh, and one last word of warning; on most realms Eversong chat is the new Barrens chat. You have been warned.
