Hide and Seek sucked a**. It was The Shining, Session 9, and The Bad Seed all rolled into one. Do not see this movie. It is a waste of your time.

Dakota (Fanning was it?) is appearing everywhere these days, or at least she seems to be. I didn't hate Hide and Seek, but after seeing it I felt like it was a waste of the ticket money I spent on it. In the theater it was so-so, because the dark room and big loud screen made it a little better, but if one needs that to make their movie better and even then it has only achieved so-so, it's not worth seeing. How was session 9 by the way? I was curious but didn't want to waste the money to rent it if it wasn't good.

I thought Dakota Fanning was fine. I thought all the actors were fine. I just think that the script was the problem. Also, there were things thatbothered me. For instance, I didn't know 60 years olds could have a 9 year old daughter.

I thought it was more of a suspense film than a horror film. It had the element of surprise but it seemed to be lacking a lot of other things. There were certain parts to the story that I just didn't like. "Charlie." now that was an alright idea. But who "Charlie." actually was proved to be nearly unbelievable and inconcievable, making Hide and Seek a 2.5 star movie in my book. Dakota Fanning was very creepy in this film.

First off, warn people before you are going to give spoilers.

SPOILER

Second, he had split personalities. He wasn't intentionally being mean.

Au contraire mon frere, I vote the Shining is taken off that list because the Shining was good and this was not. I hate this stupid movie. The acting was fine especially *SPOILER* The way Robert DeNiro acted as Charlie, frightening. but the script was so weak, I almost thought it was intentional.

My mom wanted to take me to see that movie...
Well, I guess we'll just not waste our money and go to Dark Water instead if it was really that bad.

Nothing to angry up the blood over, Mr. nice_guy; thrillers are prefectly acceptable for this forum since both genres share many of the same elements and plot devices.
