Okay, something has been bugging me for a long time...
In the flashback, when Zack gets shot by a Shinra Soldier, he probably dies, right?
BUT! Doesn't he die when he flies out of Jenova's Chamber, too? At least that's what I thought...
Does he die twice? I don't really get it... confused

No, Zack doesn't die when he flies out of Jenova's chamber. He was just knocked out. You see that he's alive when he tells Cloud to kill Sephiroth. Plus, if you watched Last Order, you'd know. Zack died when he was shot in the head. (Who wouldn't?)

Actually, Zack's death was slightly altered in Last Order... but none the less. No, Zack did not die when Sephiroth casted him out of the chamber. He was morally wounded and the spent the next five years with Cloud in the manor basement being experimented on.

Zack was injured in the Reactor, but not killed. Once Sephiroth was dealt with, both Cloud and Zack were sent to the Shinra mansion to be a part of the Jenove Soldier program Hojo was running. When they escaped, they fled to Midgar, which is where you see Zack getting shot.
And as for Last Order, I don't think the screenshot with the crosshairs was meant to be the death of Zack in the film. When you see him in the game running towards Midgar, he is injured, which could have been the bullet he took for Cloud. All I know is if I had reflexes that good, I would be an asset to the military. XD

Well, sadly I haven't seen Last Order...
And Twindream, when Zack tells Cloud to kill Sephiroth, it kinda sound like some kind of "Last Words". At least that's what I think. sweatdrop

Along with everything they said, Try going to the ShinRa Mansion Basement At Sometime during the 3rd Disc (I'm not sure if it works at other times... I did it a long time ago.), and you'll see the Short Segment of Flashbacks that Last Order is Based on. Zack and Cloud Escape, and so on. It's a Nice little hidden thing XD.
