^^ Yeah. Sorry about the poll. Couldn't resist, nor think of anything clever.
I was watching episode 39, and there is a part where the Earth King is talking to Suki!Azula about his "Harsh week"... and Azula says "It's terrible when you can't trust the people close to you." and then they zoom out to show Mai and Ty Lee.
Upon reflection, could this be foreshadowing for something in season 3?
Ideas?

I'm pretty sure they just zoomed in on them because they both knew Azula was refering to their plan. I remember Azuala casting them a sideways glance when it zoomed in and they kind-of smirked a little.

No, it wasnt foreshadowing, as was mentioned they did it because it was like an inside joke between them. She made a reference to their plan, that is why they did it.
Though that is a good observation.

Hopefully, there might be an episode where Azuala shows she doesn't really care for her friends, and then they will get angry and kill abandon her. Just wishfull thinking...

Nice poll. mrgreen I think you can guess what I voted.
I agree that Mai and Ty Lee are going to get really tired of Azula, really fast. I would love to see them team up with Zuko and take down Azula. After all, Zuko's lived with her all his life, and so have Mai and Ty Lee. They know her fighting style well by now, so they can take her down.
One popular way of her dying is self-inflicted. Like, she's drenched in a flammable fluid, and accidentally uses her Firebending. And then she effectively kills herself. Sadly, I don't think they'll ever show something that violent on the show. If Azula does have a violent death, I think that they'll only hint at it, and kinda avoid showing it directly. And I think that she might redeem herself as she is dying. Just maybe.
Oh, you know what would be really cool? If Mai, Ty Lee, and Zuko all killed Azula, but made it seem like it was an accident, and then helped take down the Fie Nation from the inside! After all, they can't really go to the good guys and say, "Hey, we killed Azula! Let's be buddies!" They aren't trusted. So they should be like inside help.

I think they will probably disagree with something Azula may want them to do, like kill one of the others or something like that. Then they will either leave her or fight with the others against her. I'm sure Ty Lee will be the one disagreeing and Mai will go along with it.

intresting...frankly i have no idea if the girls will leave azula..i dont think they have the guts to because they may be scared of what Azula would do to them since she has all the power to do a certain things..

I made this prediction awhile ago in another thread so I have some theories on it but I also predicted they would join the Gaang.
If you remember when Mai and Ty Lee were recruited, Ty Lee joined because, well, Azula "casually" endangered her life if she didn't. Mai joined because she was bored and wanted some excitement.
If they did decide to leave and join the Gaang, Mai would do so because what would be more interesting and exciting than fighting AGAINST the Fire Nation? Plus, if Zuko is with the group, there's a bit of an added bonus for her.
Ty Lee would probably join Mai in that idea (greater in numbers?) since Azula is only keeping Ty Lee with threats. And her added bonus would be being around Sokka.
