Okay, first let me say this, by cover songs, the song being covered DOES not have to be metal, but the band must be. So what would your favourite cover song be?
I love all the Blind Guardian covers, especially their cover of Spread Your Wings originally by Queen.
I also like Pagan's Mind's cover of King Diamond's 'At the Graves' and Nevermore's cover of 'Sound of Silence' originally by Simon and Garfunkel. <3

I love Dimmu Borgir's covers of Burn in Hell (originally by Twisted Sister) and Metal Heart (by Accept). The solo in Metal Heart is just ******** orgasmic.
Motorheads cover of Enter Sandman is really good too. I actually like their version better than the original. Lemmy is God. I like Pantera's version of the Mission Impossible theme too. XDD
And then of course there's Apocalyptica. XD

J O N 6 6 Iced Earth's Mr. Sandman surprised To hell with that. The whole Tribute to the Gods album kicked major a**. Their covers of Hallowed Be Thy Name and Black Sabbath were even better than the originals, in my opinion. And they actually made AC/DC almost tolerable. eek

[ Jack Frost ] Suck my balls. 3nodding I liked Bodoms cover of Rebel yell. Hated the cover of Aces High Hey, I'm an open-minded individual. But we'll have to decide on payment first.
Care to explain what the hell motivated them to cover such wretched "artists" as Poison and Motley Crue, though?

And Angra's 'Painkiller' because of André Mathos, that guy can get me to eargasms. redface

Amon Amarth released a Black Sabbath cover a while back. might've been Paranoid. in any case, it was ******** cool. scream
