Well im new at photoshop so i really don't know much but im willing to learn. im really impressed by the work that i see and i'm hoping to be able to do what your doing. i have very basic skills and at the most i don't have a clue at what im doing. so i'd really really apreciate the help THE PROGRAM I USE IS PHOTOSHOP CS2 so far here what i've created its kinda pathetic but cute

Anything from 7 on up is great for editing - after 7, they get better for other things, but for avatar editing they remain much the same. Take some time to familiarize yourself with the tools Photoshop offers and the user interface. Play around with brush and layer modes until you have a good idea of how everything looks, then, try out some tutorials! I write avatar editing tutorials for Photoshop, and I've got a few, so don't worry - once you've experimented enough to know how the program works, you'll get the hang of editing in no time! Don't worry, we're here to help.
