ever hear of the folk song suite ? im playing it in band. is it any good? worthwhile?

We played that for our Junior/Senior Conference band, it was fun. Kind of hard, in spots, but the bass clarinet music wasn't bad. xD

Yeah! We played that this year. It's a little intimidating at first, but it gets easier. It's a lot of fun. I played the first clarinet part, and it was great.

Our high school is playing this year and I'm an 8th grader so I just get to hear it I don't really get to preform it... so... confused But I can play it though both clarinet parts, its really fun.

Is that the one with 3 movements, where 1 and 3 are essentially marches?

yeah this is the one with 3 movements. its a good piece i'd say
i especially liked the flute part in the first movement.
but i switched to trumpet. way better instrument.
