Okay. A lot of Diru fans that I've introduced to GazettE say that it bugs them that Ruki sounds like Kyo.
When I first started listening to GazettE, he did kind of sound like Kyo. Kind of. Now that I'm more of a Gaze-fangirl...I can firmly say that there is a stark contrast in their voices.
I mean...no offense to Kyo fangirls...but...he can't do as much with his voice as Ruki can. Ruki changes his voice for different songs, and Kyo's voice just kind of stays the same.
I love Kyo's voice, too, but Ruki seems to be much more versatile in that department...

if you listen to Filth In The beauty..he does nice things with his voice...Reila....other songs >.>
Ruki is good!

The fact that Ruki quit smoking helps.

ruki and kyo only have one thing in common and thats the color of there hair, and now ruki has his brown so now theres deffinatly nothing similar between the two. Kyo's voice is very cringy meaning its strong yet he can turn into a voice of a dieing cat, or scream uncontrollably. Ruki's voice use to be a bit lighter but now its a little stronger. There very very very diffrent not to mention the music is so much unalike. Dir en grey perfom metal and death metal, the gazette are about hard rock, sometimes just plain rock

when I first heard Waremichi, I coudl swear I wanted to kill Ruki...his voice irritated me so much!!!
like in the newer songs his voice indeed got strongere..
but ok.now I rly like the song Waremichi^^

xD Yeah, when I only had about 5 songs by GazettE, every now and then, I'd start one, and think. "Huh? New diru song?" But, now I look back, and be like... "What was I thinking?"

Wakaremichi was one of GazettE's first releases, so that's why his voice wasn't as strong as it is now.
And I agree on the different music subject.
I'm glad the people here are smarter than some of the people I've run into along the way. >.>

Gackt has absolutely nothing to do with this, I just somehow randomly included him.
I loves Teruki. I think he might have a li'l bit of korean in him...just by looks..Tetsu as well for that matter..O_o
Where I live I have to deal with narrow-minded idiots all the time...mostly uber-churchy people who think I worship satan because of the way I dress NOT TRUE!!>.< but everyone here thinks the same way I do so I feel at ease when replying in this guild! *hugz everyone*
(though it is fun to mess with the churhies around here >:3
One of my favorite things to do is talk about J-Rockers and how hot they are and how good they'd be in bed and shtuff when a churchie is within earshot. They start freaking out about how I've sinned for thinking those things and saying s**t like "May the Lord have mercy on your soul!" keep on telling me I'm going to hell. Usually I do that with a friend, so I turn to my friend and say "Well, if going to hell means that I'll have sex with *insert J-Rocker here* then count me in!" They storm off and complain about it to their other churchy friends, leaving me and my friend behind laughing our asses off.XDD
It's too much fun.
I typed so much that I can't remember what we were talking about! XDD
