2. Incidents involving the Sniper / Victims of the Sniper
Case One: April Fool's '05-April Fools Day, 2005, 12:00 PM. Johnny K. Gambino, having recently rebuilt his mansion into a giant tower, stands, laughing, on the top of the skyscraper with his amnesiac son, Gino. As Gino watches his father consumed with madness and power, something clicks in his mind and he regains his lost memories, calling Gambino 'Father'. Overjoyed, Gambino turns to embrace his son; but suddenly, a shot rings out, and
Gambino is shot in the left breast. He and Gino fall to their supposed deaths from the tower, which collapses on the Von Helsen sister's mansion,
presumably killing them. Gino, Gambino, and the
Von Helsens (?) all survive the attack, resurfacing later on.
Case Two: The Trial of Ian-Ian, having been
cleared of
arson charges, is released to a cheering crowd. As Ian leaves the courthouse, waving to the crowd, he and Sasha spot eachother. It appears that a tender moment is about to commence; however, at that moment, the Sniper
shoots Ian from atop the clocktower. Ian is
critically injured, but he is rushed to the hospital and eventually makes a full recovery. However, following the attack, Ian
goes into hiding, fearing for his life and leaving Rufus in charge of the Barton Boutique.
Case Three: 'Convergence'-Durem, 11:00 (?) PM. Edmund sits in his home, reading a book and drinking tea. Suddenly, he hears a sound outside and notices a shadowy figure through the window; reacting quickly, he dodges out of the way just in time to
avoid being shot.
